Sunday May 24 Skipping rope for about 15 minutes using different methods 2X3 Shadowboxing 3X3 Heavybag I was able to throw more punches sitting on them than ever today. I was slowing down because of the heat and humidity outside, but I was able to do things a lot better, including throwing a 1-2-3, jab, right hand hook combo, it could be a lot better though. And I was able to throw a double left hook to the body head combination. I just need to practice more and I will tomorrow.

Thursday May 28 16 laps of running around my house, which is about 2 miles. 3X3 Shadowboxing, working on pivoting more on right hooks and developing a better right hand 4X3 Heavybag work, no left hand punches since my left shoulder muscle is probably strained and very sore at the moment, I let it rest but focused on the right hook, right hand, and sticking my glove to my face and returning the other glove to my face, defense was an emphasis also.
Friday May 29 Rest Saturday May 30 I ran 6 laps around the park, that's about 2 miles of running, I did 6X3/18 minutes of working on footwork circling, dragging my foot that wasn't facing the way I was going and stepping with the other, it'll take time, but I have things to work on with this.

Training seems legit but ill tell you man dont just use shadow boxing to warmup. Put a big emphasis behind it thats the perfect place to work you basics and all your combos. If you just warmup with shadow boxing you may be bullshitting through it and develop or reinforce bad habits. We are different of course but I shadow box after my bag work or padwork and sparring to continue to work on things. I drill the basics every single day you will always see me at the gym doing the boring **** because its very important you gotta develop them good fundementals first thats your base man you gotta probablly do more shadow boxing at this point of you then anything I would suggest.
While your shadowboxing always pivot or step to the side after every combo with your hands up, I learned the hard way. Also practice feints at different speeds and parrying and countering with the same hand (they throw jab you parry with your right and counter with a right then throw 2 more at least, slip and sidestep for example) and punching smoothly while moving forwards. Just a few things that helped me immensely. Keep it up bro.
I've began using shadowboxing as an exercise to work on things more so than a warm up like I had been doing. A poster here named spittle8 gave me some exercises to work on, so I utilized them. About 25 minutes of skipping rope, using all types of techniques, skipping from one foot to the other, alternating, hopping on one foot, etc... 6X3 Shadowboxing I used my heavybag more for a stamina drill, it really worked me good and made me feel very tired. 60 1-2 combos. 50 jabs 60 1-2 combos 60 1-2 combos 50 jabs 90 1-2 combos 50 jabs 120 1-2 combos I would've liked to do spittle8's routine of 3 sets of 60, 90, and 120 1-2 combos but I don't have the stamina for it yet.
