No he stormed out of the ring and refused a post fight interview (in ring). Im sure he was just fine with it. :verysad
I agree. Pavlik actually has ONE HELL of a jab. I think Taylor's was more accurate and quicker....but Kelly's was much stiffer and more powerful.

Just look at Taylors face and tell me who was winning the fight. Taylor himself said in the locker room that he thought he was losing the fight. He was surprised he was up on the judges scorecards. Dude- reality check. You're guy got starched- it happens and it sucks. Stop being an excuse making whiner and eat you're crow.
who knows? maybe he was embarrassed? lots of fighters do that when they lose, the classy ones often stay for the interview either to give props to his opponent or to complain about sumthin, stoppage was arguably ok... JT was winning imo, that should've been his, but he let it go.:verysad
I really hate it when someone reads half (or half reads...you choose) your post....ignores every one of your points, and the fact that you totally aknowledged that he was going to lose and that you were wrong....and then talks ****. Learn to ****ing read. I gave Pavlik all the credit in the world. He proved me wrong. I ****in hate it when people attempt to pull that ****.
JT could have been given a 30 count and not have gotten up. he crumbled. He left the ring cuz he was pissed, he not only lost for the first time in his pro career but got KOed. At least he was cool about it in his interview and said he lost fair and square. that was a great fight tho. Kelly inpressed me, HUGE heart. LOL when announcer said one 0 has gotta go lol
big Taylor fan. i even lost money on this fight. that said, it was a good stoppage. i fault Taylor for not taking a knee after taking that right. only if he was a little smarter.
I was standing up when Taylor had him hurt, but when Pavlik feel to the canvas, my legs buckled as well. Seriously though, that was a scary moment for anybody picking Pavlik or rooting for Pavlik. What a statement it would have been for Taylor to win via a 2nd round knockout.
OKAY.... Now that I have recovered from last night...let me apologize. One - I was on my ass drunk when I got home and made this post. That is the last time I go out with my "casual" boxing friends who all have the same mentality......namely "**** IT, THERES A FIGHT ON...LETS GET PISSY (and the bartender at the spot we went to last night is one of our boys...so free drinks....god I feel sick....:barf )!!!" Two - After watching the fight this morning, I have come to see the error of my ways. The stoppage was good. The ref sensed he was out (he wasnt, as shown by him talking, responsive, getting up, storming out, etc.), but I can TOTALLY understand from the replay that it was justified. I guess I was drunk and pissed my pick was wrong....:twisted: Three - After watching the fight again, a few things immediately jump out at me.... First, Pavlik's an unbelievable finisher. The second he senses his guy is hurt, he pounces. Not many fighters out there with that good of an instinct in that area.... Next, Taylor was definately up...he was controlling the pace, slipping MANY of Pavlik's punches, landing the cleaner shots and countering VERY WELL (hell even as he got blasted at the end....watch the replay, he almost instinctively throws a counter....). Also, both fighters can take a punch. If there was any doubt of Taylor's chin (Zakman, I am looking in your direction ), there should be none after last night. I mean, yes he got stopped, but stopped by an accumulation of POWERFUL, POWERFUL punches. Pavlik on the other hand, showed he has great recuperative skills...he was hurt BAD in the second (from a couple BIG shots) and survived....then by the 7th rolls around, he was the fresher, stronger fighter. Amazing really. Both fighters are elite at 160 (with Abraham, probably the three best at MW), but I couldnt see them doing MUCH at anything above. They could compete, but would be nowhere near the likes of a Kessler or a Calzaghe. And finally....This was a fantastic fight. I cannot wait till the next one. :good Anyway.....you guys know me....I am NEVER the one who wont admit when he is wrong. And I was wrong. Pavlik proved himself to me (he still has horrible fundamentals...but is a better fighter than I thought). And the stoppage was just fine. So I leave you with this....**** yall.....:thumbsup Now if you will excuse me, I gotta go lie down now....my ****in head is POUNDING!!!!
