Gamboa is a good fighter but he is open to counter shots. When he throws jabs to the body, he is open for a counter left hook.I see him having good fights with a Margarito or Cintron, but him matching well against a skillful counter puncher like Mayweather, Spinks, Judah ect is something that i dont see happening. The kid is still learning so maybe is people will pick up on that.

I don't think he is actually open. I think he looks that way because he is on constant attack. Honestly, I don't think he is trying. And he was slipping punches tonight, the few that were thrown. Perhaps he can be hit by them, perhaps not. He may very well hit them first. Here's the thing. All the fighters you just talked about are fighting at least 3 weight classes up from where he is. So he isn't going to be running into them anytime soon anyways.
Oh yeah sorry about that. As i was watching him last night, his frame looks so big so i figured he was in the WW division and i could have sworn i heard Atlas mention Mayeather. Well, he could definatley be a force to be reckoned with at Feather.
