At first glance, I would say the rankings are very good. Obviously no-one is going to agree with every placement but on the whole I would say it's an excellent effort. A few minor quibbles - I'd have Ward as the #1 SMW purely on the basis that he beat the previous #1 in dominating fashion. I'm not sure Sturm deserves to be as high as #2 but that's perfectly understandable. I'd also have Klassen a bit higher, certainly above Fana. I think I'd have Quintana and Brook sneaking in the top 10 at 147 and I'd have Huck a couple of places lower at CW. The only one I really disagree with is having JuanMa at #2 while Gamboa is at #6. If JuanMa is above him, I think it should only be by one place. Like I said, at first glance there don't seem to be any rankings that are totally out of place. Good effort.
Donaire is way to low. Should be number 1. I wouldnt have valero at no1, swap hopkins and dawson and swap bute and ward. Godfrey should be way higher at cruiser (will be after he outboxes steve cunningham), swap vitali and wladamir.

Maybe you are going more on potential and opinion rather than actual results which is fair enough. My main issues would be. Danny Green way to high at Cruiserweight, wouldn't even have him in the top 10. a won over RJJ at catchweight shouldnt mean that much especially when you have left out guys like Hernandez and Drozd who have severall decent wins at the weight. I seriously rate Cleverly but Braehmer and Murat have 2-3 wins over guys better than anyone clev has shared the ring with. Tarver is retired. if your gonna rank mosley you gotta rank Dzinzurik Juan Diaz shouldnt be top 10 at light welter. he has 2 fights at the weight and is 1-1 with the victory being a complete robbery. Mitchell to high at lightweight and gamboa a bit low at feather. good effort though but still pissed you didnt even bother commenting on the ESB rankings.
Good rankings. A few things I just can't agree with: Dzinziruk should be ranked at 154. Kaizer Mabuza does not belong at #7 at 140. Urango should still be ahead of Juan Diaz, Mabuza and Ortiz, at least to my liking. I don't see how Ponce De Leon could be ahead of Gamboa... or Rojas for that matter. Rojas should be ahead of Juarez, too. Joyi shouldn't be #2 at minimumweight. Sithsamerchai is definitely ahead of him. And Garcia should be higher, too. I think Joyi will beat Garcia, but before he does, he's behind him. There are some other things I don't agree with, but are defendable, I feel.

Some that jumped out: Haye should be 3/4 (even though I hate the ****) Bute should be lower as he hasn't beaten an elite SMW (not his fault, but still) Arthur Abraham should be higher. 2/3 Ward should be lower 3/4 Golovkin should make it into top 10 to replace Lopez Williams should be 1 in Lightmiddle Gamboa should be a few places higher. Munroe a few places lower. All in all good job. I liked your placement of Dawson ahead of Hopkins. Ballsy and justified imo. :good

thanks for all your comments. i agree in some areas and looking back i made some clear mistakes. The SMW rankings i won't change though, as i have followed that division with huge interest and i can make a solid case for the rankings i made for that division. I made a mistake with Gamboa (i am huge fan so that's a bad one) in thinking Mtagwa was his first fight at FW, while in reality i was thinking of JuanMa. I will change that and some more tomorrow. Green should be lower too, definately. I am going to sleep now, so i will comment more tommorow. I forgot Dzindziruk. Also, i am basing my rankings on resume and accomplishments, rather than potential and opinion, even if RobPalmer thinks otherwise.
Your SMW and FW rankings are strange. People are too high on Bute these days. And it's strange to put Lopez second and Gamboa 6th. I mean Gamboa has more matches in the division.
Decent list here. I have Povetkin lower down because he hasn't fought a top fighter in a while, Chagaev lower down the list for the same reason- and Adamek where you have Boytsov. The Klitschkos, Arreola, Valuev and Thompson are all pretty much were I'd have them. Actually, now I think of it find it pretty hard to place 3rd out of Chambers, Povetkin and Haye. Haye will have it if he beats Ruiz, but until then I struggle to justify putting him above the other two :think
i suggest you are going on potential rather than resume cos of some of the placings. for example clev ahead of braehmer. I have sent you a pm.
