im just gonna go by his two best performances

Klitschko is a jabber he had one of the best jabs while active that old faded klitschko we are talking about came back and gave anthony joshua a scare by dropping him in the 7th two years inactive

the same klit wilder wanted no part of saying he was "still developing as a fighter "

Klit being the jabber that we all know him to be. He simply could not let his hands go and find a way to land his jab on fury. Klitschko had no answers for fury that night. he simply was left frozen because the movement just caught him by surprise ,perhaps he thought that it was easier before ,but he was just left frozen and had no answers for furys movement

now his performance against wilder was just amazing , along with the odds he came back with out of shape , overweight ,

wilder that night tried to land everything he could and when he did he just couldnt keep him down.

fury may be a clown and may be he is unpredictable .

but he was doubted in those two fights and he proved critics wrong

his fanboys might try to label him the GOAT and call him the best ever . But fury does not have the resume to go along with that title . despite those performances

he is however an elite heavyweight today and probably #1 or # 2 best heavyweight today

His style is horrible to watch even thought it is super effective, combine that with his big mouth and inactivity and you got a guy who nobody gives a fuk about....

i love all styles , brawler , technicians , boxer -punchers

if we only had one style , this sport would suck

My take on Fury is that he has talent, but got very lucky that the BBBoC let's their busted countrymen compete while a doping investigation is taking place, and don't tell the other relevant parties. He would have been stripped of his mandatory position, his Hammer fight changed into a NC, the Wlad fight would have never happened, and he would have been just another drugcheat.
Klitschko had probably also lost to the replacement that night, and heavyweight history had been very different.

So his entire reputation is based on beating an old and slow Klitschko, who had a bad night. That's just sad.
In reality Fury is nothing more then an unstable B level fighter, who almost got KOed by a 46 ranked taxy driver.

Vlad was having serious family issues in the build up to the fury fight and didnt pull out
I remember fury pulling out a fight with family playing a part
Thsts the difference between the two

Statistically Fury has a world championship record of 1-0-1 (0 ko). In 24 official rounds of championship boxing, Fury has only landed 170 punches, that’s an average of just 7 punches per round. On average, 4 of those 7 punches would of been those ‘flicky’ backhand jabs of his. Fury has scored no knockdowns but has felt the canvas twice. Somehow though, the enigma that is Fury has probably shaded a fair majority of those rounds fought with accolades of ‘masterclass’ and ‘schooling’ all over this forum.

To them yes to me no .

But they were good performances because the elite heavyweights troubled him little

Hats off to the man. He has bagged a truckload of money and is set for life. There are other more talented fighters of course, but he is able to sell a package and he can box a bit and is tough. Overrated, yes I think so but Fair play to him. He has achieved a hell of a lot.

He is elite in this era, but I think that elite fighters from previous eras like Bowe, Tyson, Lewis or prime Klitschkos would beat him.
