    LMR

was a great talent and given different judges he might be remembered more fondly.

Placing him highly always seems a bit out there to me due to how unknown he is.

He's not unknown head to head though? Clearly the equal, or near to equal of Emile Griffith, plenty of footage?

I completely understand which is why I say he is a great fighter, just not an all time great welterweight ..

SQ , what's consistent and funny about you is that you don't know what you don't know and feel repetition and passion make up for knowledge. You are good at studying record books but seem to have a very limited knowledge of styles, match ups or size ..

Floyd Mayweather is a brilliant marketer and in selecting who he will fight and when .. Gatti was nothing when they fought, Oscar was pushing 35 and shot, Mosely was 39 and shot, they list goes on and on .. Floyd has never, ever fought a top , natural , great welterweight in their prime let alone ones with speed, chins, reach and power .. you know nothing about Tito Trinidad by making such outrageous posts .. do you remember who defeated a prime De La Hoya , a welterweight much better than Floyd ? Your comment on Vernon Forrest is pure display of your complete lack of knowledge on the welterweight division .. the man waqs big, stong, fast and a murderous puncher .. Floyd would never have gotten in the ring with this sort of guy .. you rate Floyd over Duran at welterweight ? As they say in Goodfellas .. "go get your shine box " ...

There is a pattern with SQ .. he believe the names of victims makes up for things like the age they were when they lost .. sounds awfully like his endless arguments for his namesake .. just saying .. not only who you fight but when you fight them ... :nut

Would you take off Oscar or Tito?

    He

I will post more later but I think you're the only one on this form who thinks Tito beat Oscar. I had Oscar winning the fight a clear 116-112 decision . The only rounds Tito won were 4 10 11 and 12 on my scorecard. So he gets zero credit from me for this victory .

I also rate Floyd above Oscar at 1:47. Floyd was a much smaller man
when he bumped up and fought Oscar at 1:54 and still won a clear decision.

I will post about Vernon and that ridiculous styles comment later

Yeah, Rodriguez would beat Mosley and again in a rematch...same with Cotto, Forrest and Margarito. Needless to say, I think Griffith would have his way with them also.

    I really don't know.

I need room for Walker and LMR so I need to lose 2 of Mosley, Oscar and Tito.

I think Mosley has to go, he fought the fight of his life against Oscar and ****ted Margo but he also came very close to losing the rematch with Oscar.

Oscar or Tito, I don't think their fight was a huge robbery, I do think it could have gone either way though. Not sure who I prefer.

Oscar fought, by far, the better opposition but Tito did edge him even though I scored it a draw.

I think those 3 are 3 of the best ever but gun to my head I think Oscar was the best of the 3 and could easily have gone 2-1 against them with different judges.

You're confusing his over all body of work with what he's accomplished in a particular division. Tito is not a tier two fighter.

They made a call, I do not agree with it all, but they have defended themselves.

A two word critique is a cheap shot; explain yourself...

My mistake I got the impression you were having a pop at him mentioning Hatton Oscar, Shane, and Cotto who all started out heavier than him, plus Gatti who was also a S / Feather, and not " smaller " With at least 3 of them having power over Mayweather no matter how old they were.

I agree that he is not an ATG Welter, but then again I'll never accept Leonard at #2 so that doesn't mean a lot.

Would have SRR, Armstrong and SRL as top 3. Can't really see why people are not giving Leonard credit for the Hearns fight. He took his 0! As for Hearns being drained, it was a gruelling fight. He took some punishment and got on his bike. 15 round fights were abolished for a reason, it wasn't healthy. But it doesn't mean he wasn't able. Leonard proved himself to be the better man.
