I ultimatley chose Lee Q Murray over Bivins. But I thought hard about Bivins and Clarence Henry. I also thought for a long hard while about Tiger Jack Fox. Lee Q Murray actually got slightly better of bivins in h2h(I have a fight report where there first bivins win was considered a big time robbery).......but main reason I like Murrray over bivins is I think his style(too bad no film) and size will suit him better vs top contenders in future eras than bivins.....bivins had wicked 80" reach for 5'9 but he had a dull style and fought too passive at times. All of his contemporaries spoke highly of murray, louis camp didnt want to fight him, Murray beat solid opposition, top boxer-puncher, very solid paper write ups......Always at the top of the list of Ring Magazine. Murray was Heavyweight champion of Duration regonized by Maryland and Ohio by his big knockout win over Big dangerous Harry bobo. this title holds legitamacy as an alpha belt title. Fox was on top at heavyweight division for a long time, beat excellent competition of all sizes walcott called him the greatest fighter he ever fought that "fox could do everything"...........and Clarence Henry is one of the most underated fighters ever he was a near great fighter(I am still awaiting film on him it is out there and could change my opinion on him).....everyone spoke highly of him his record and reputation in his prime speaks for itself, He was 6'1 had lightning like knockout power along with excellent skills.His fight with ATG harold Johnson was as close as they get. I have the full new york times article. Too bad henry went blind from moore beating(moores best win at heavyweight) he was so young he still had alot of time. What hurt henry is he never faced famous heavyweights in the division like marciano, walcott, charles, valdez or even white heavyweights layne and lastarza to see how truelly good he was. New York times reported in 1951 The 4 best heavyweights out there are "marciano, walcott, charles and Henry and they are all at the same level". Classifying Henry at those 3 fighters level is impressive.

Eveyone's entitled to an opinion. But your post , left unedited and without comment, makes a great case for Ali over Liston. I know that's NOT how you intended it.
I am a big advocate of styles and when it comes to the top of the rankings h2h plays a big part and I really Like listons puncher-boxer style and ability h2h, and in a match between Ali-Liston at there best I think its a toss up. Liston did the best he possibly could with his era, Ali did the best he possibly could with his era.....now it comes down to styles and h2h I slightly favor sonny.
Good list overall. I dont do lists but there are some good names on this one that deserve that sort of recognition. My main complaint would be : Tyson at 6, with Holyfield at 15, doesn't make sense. Holyfield was truly greater than Tyson, IMO.
