I am a big fan of Tyson, I've never hid that. So you might say that my top 10 having Tyson on top is biased, and I have no problem with that, but I am not a fan of all the rest I have in my top 10, apart from say Liston. So if you take Tyson and Liston out of the equation, the rest of the list is pretty objective. Take for example Lewis, who I rank in my top 5. I was never a fan of Lewis, in fact I consider his style unappealing, but I can see how good he really was.
Don't need to listen. Tyson is an Ali fanboy, so his opinion is very subjective. Tyson will beat Ali prime vs prime.
Nope. Sorry didn't happen. Every ranking on the actual list is one hundred percent correct. The real list is on page four, and if you don't think it's correct, you're obviously just not operating at the same sort of pace which I am. Don't worry, you'll get there.
What? Lol Frazier and Tyson are nothing alike. Frazier threw almost a third more punches on average a round as Tyson and he didn’t get exhausted after six rounds. There is zero chance imo of Ali getting stopped and there is zero chance of Tyson making it 12 or 15 rounds. They both have there pluses and minuses but they aren’t alike and no that was not a prime Ali.
Page 1: " it's still very much a WIP and some on-the-job feedback would be useful." Page 4: "Every ranking on the list is one hundred percent correct." That is fast tbf.
Tyson hits harder, has KO power in both hands, is stronger, faster, way more skilled offensively and defensively. All Frazier has is better stamina. Irrelevant since he wasn't as accurate as Tyson and his only danger punch was his left hook. Tyson does not need to last that long, he KOs Ali in the first 5 rounds. He wasn't far off from it either. He had lost 10% in terms of speed, reflexes and stamina, but he had way better endurance to taking a punch and he hit a bit harder than in the 60s too.
I'm comparing prime vs prime, both at 100% and properly prepared. Tyson was not properly prepared for Douglas, and he wasn't in his prime either. A beats B, B beats C, therefore A beats C does not work. Styles make fights. A swarmer has an edge over an out-boxer, an out-boxer has an edge over a slugger, a slugger has an edge over a swarmer. Kinda like rock, paper, scissors. Ali was an out-boxer, Frazier was a swarmer. The reason I said Tyson would whoop Ali is cause Frazier did it, and cause to a certain extent, Tyson has a similar style and is a superior version of Frazier. Douglas was more similar to Ali than to Tyson.
Ali was not prime in the FOC And beat Frazier Twice afterwards.Tyson was nearer his prime v Douglas than Ali was verses Frazier. The truth is you just can not face the fact that a prime Ali out classes Tyson
For some reason Initial reply didn’t post right but I’ll keep this one shorter. Tyson wasn’t as accurate that’s false. He also wasn’t as good defensively that’s false. Compustats available if you don’t believe me. Tyson wasn’t nearly busy enough to Ko Ali and one punch ain’t gonna do it
