Because there is ample evidence both on the net, and in other forms of media to suggest that extremism within Islam is by no means a minority attitude. These people may not do the killing directly, but they support it. Every muslim believes in the one word fits all with regard to those who don't share their beliefs, even if they have differing religious beliefs. And the word is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    " Infidel "

It's because of you apologists that the UK is turning into a bigger **** hole by the day. Time to stop ***** footing around and clamp down on these rats. If people want to call us racist I don't give a ****! Last time I checked Islam wasn't a race.....

I thought this was a discussion about a trip to Louisville, but I guess I'm wrong.

We ran into Larry some years ago at a casino in Mississippi when he was on his comeback run, just randomly in a wide hallway (my father, my brother and myself).

We were all wearing some kind of boxing T-shirts and it was obvious we were there for the fight -- this would have been the day before, maybe a couple of hours before the weigh-in as I recall. I approached him and he stopped and pointed at my father (who was in his 60s) and says, "I'll fight YOU. I'm ready. You come get in that ring and I'll whup you," mugging and making a mean face. Then he broke out in a smile and said thank you for coming to the fight and posed for pictures with us. He was great with my pops, asking where we were from and such.

Ran into him again at an exhibition after he retired (for good), he went three rounds with an old sparring partner to "main event" a club show. I had a guy on the undercard and Larry's locker room was next to ours. He of course didn't recognize me but he came over and wished the guys in our room good luck, was really gracious and went out of his way to be nice. Afterward he stayed for maybe an hour signing autographs at ringside and posing for photos.

So I've got fond memories of Larry.

I envy you on your pilgrimage, Rez, and thank you for sharing all these great stories.

We all miss the champ. RIP to The Greatest.

Thats a great story. So you fought on the same exhibition card as Holmes? That's not something most people can say!

No, I didn't fight, haha. I was working a corner.

    But still a cool experience.

Side note: Had a guy that asked me to work his corner once on another Mississippi casino show. He's fighting a prospect, very late in the career for the guy I'm with, a journeyman.

He was kind of resigned to his fate, other guy is like 18-0 with 15 KOs or something. Bigger, younger, stronger. My guy looks over his shoulder as we're making our way down the hall to go to the ring (and I have my back turned) and he says, "He's trained by Eddie Futch!!!!" So my reaction, trying to buck up his confidence, I say out loud, "F--- Eddie Futch." And then I realize one of the greatest trainers of all time is right behind me. Eddie just smiled and I kind of laughed.

He knocked my guy out in two or three, but he was just there for the payday and hoping to get lucky.

There's 1.bn Muslims across the world, they once had an empire which stretched over two thirds of the known world.

If they really wanted to take over the world they would have done it by now.

Al Qaeda and ISIS...are just mossad agents.

Funny how these terror groups claim to be fighting for Islam. Yet most of the people in their crosshairs have been Muslims.

Actually, the word infidel first came into use by the Crusaders on the Muslims of the middle east. And secondly the phrase 'holy war' too was a concoction of the crusaders.

Islamically, the term kaafir (kuffar plural) does not mean infidel, although its become a word that's abused, the real original meaning of the word is rejectors or unbelievers of God.

So basically, your saying Ali was too scared to leave his religion?

I love how Islamophobes have this ability to read the minds of millions of Muslims and decide they are all brainwashed.

He got himself involved with some very shady people indeed, god knows what was said behind closed doors.

I've read enough about Muslims in my own country let alone America to call myself an Islamophobe.....
