Therefore this is probably the only way to have Ward as no. 1.

    Ok, let me elaborate.

Ward has only ONE win. Just a single win.

Froch has three really good wins. Pascal, Dirrell, and Taylor.

Good list, though are your criteria mostly resume or and actual evaluation of how good the fighter is?
Cause if Ward is number 1 because he beat Kessler that's fine, but if you go indept with the win it's not that great of a win IMO.

Also Bute is nr 3, but he actually got KO'ed by Andrade first time, Miranda is useless if you want to be in the top 3. Kessler took care of Andrade impressively first time,
have been in with a number of good boxers and took care of Froch who was undefeated with good wins over Pascal and Dirrel, and a late KO of Taylor.

In short why do you really have Bute over Kessler when Kessler was "the man" as you say, before fighting Ward, but now after an impressive win over Froch is
relegated to number 4, when Bute hasn't had as good a win as Kessler's over Froch in the meantime?

Like i said its very hard to rank these guys, i feel that Kessler ranks below Bute simply due to form, Kessler's form has not exactly been great of recent and he had to rely on heart and guts against Froch which was outstanding considering he still looks rusty, its a strange one, i rank his win over Froch very highly yet i still think Bute should rank above him due to form. IMO Bute beats Kessler at the moment yet Froch beats Bute which might explain my ranking.

Well it's not H2H and Bute hasn't accomplished enough IMO, and it's not easy to look good against Froch, he's big, awkward and has long range,
so you need alot of stamina and skill to do what Kessler did, not to talk about determination and chin.

Your list is good as I said, I just wouldn't rank Bute above Kessler.

Very good list :good, Taylor should be OUT cuz he never done anything at this weight and Andrade beat a belt holder in Stieglitz and he should replace Allan Green in the list (who lost to Miranda by pts)

    1. Bute (one great and one good win for Ward doesn't put him ahead of the guy with no great wins but 6 good wins, IMHO, but Ward is close. If he beats Dirrell, he's #1)
    2. Ward
    3. Dirrell (I think he beat Froch more convincingly than did Kessler, and Abraham is a better win than what Kessler has lately)
    4. Kessler
    5. Froch
    6. Abraham
    7. Andrade (wins over Stieglitz, Mack and Tsypko, plus I think he beats everyone below him)
    8. Bika
    9. Green
    10. Stieglitz (Balzsay and Gutknecht are pretty decent wins)

Just outside in approximate but not exact order: Taylor, Brinkley, Sartison, Miranda, Mendy, Simms, Magee, Zuniga, Smigga

Kessler didn't look great. He should have won easily against Froch. He had a hard time. I think he looked awful, again. On resume though, you have a point. He was at the top or near it when the tournament began and beat Froch. But then he lost against Ward. Bute has a perfect record. Miranda is not useless if you compare Bute's performance with Ward's one. Bute destroyed Miranda. Ward went the distance and had less trouble with Kessler than with Miranda. So, again, nothing is easy in that division. It all depends on what we look at.

The list is pretty good. I find that Dirrell, with only one single win against a good opponent (not proven at the weight), does not earn the second spot in my book. Not yet. But that's in my list!;)

Its not who is the best fighter but who is the best promotor, even more so in the SuperMiddle weight division.

1.Wards-got every super6 fight in America for him.
    2.Butes-Ditto for Canada
3.Abraham-Looked amazing in getting Froch to probably go to Germany.
4.Dirrell-Misjudged in the opening fight but since then he is back on track
5.Kessler-Planned well and managed to get the WBC belt.
6.Froch-Does'nt seem to have any idea or plan as to how to steal the super6 title, worst of the lot.
