Ricardo Lopez owns Winky Wright in that category. Winky didn't thrown every punch with the technical precision that Ricardo did. Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan Manuel Marquez come closer to him than Wright does.

Marquez.... Oktay Urkel... Mikkel Kessler. they arent the best atheletes but they have exceptional boxing skills in a text book sense.

No love for James Toney here?

Watch his fights with Mike McCallum, very technical AND entertaining fights

There's no love for Toney because his style wasn't what one would call 'technical'. His style uses many unorthodox and crafty old school maneuvers. Being technically precise means geting down the boxing basics and fighing in a more orthodox style.

    Yep, sanchez was amazing too.
I remember an interview where Roy Jones were asked who was the best technical fighter ever for him, he answered Sanchez. He added that before his fights, he always watched videos of Sanchez boxing.

yeah, I understand what you mean.
Toney was not a 'textbook' technical fighter, just like Roy Jones wasn't. Or Pernell Whitaker.
He still was a very technical fighter. Or maybe we can say that he was more of a skilled fighter than a technical fighter.

I love how most on here bring up their favs instead of sticking to the topic. Funny as hell.
