This fight is more dangerous than bookies and fans give credit for, Inoue is the Monster favorite but Nery can punch upstairs and down and as much as Japan is looking for revenge, he's motivated to clear his name in style. Figueroa, much larger than Inoue, wasn't exactly dominating him and body shot KO losses are more often singular in one's career than repeated. If anything, I'd expect Mosta to take him out upstairs, but it won't be without blood, sweat and tears IMO.

Agree Kiwiman. I think he will bring it early, but he's not good enough to beat Inoue. I think Inoue stops him around 5-6 rounds.

7 weeks after odds were first published, Inoue has widened to a 1/10 favorite.

    Neri $9 to a dollar.

    Draw 40/1

One more week left to go. This will either be another Inoue execution or an all-out punch fest that can end by KO. Either way it goes I'm excited to see how this turns out.

Inoue is most likely going to win. Nery is a very good fighter though.

Nery is very good but Inoue is just phenomenal, he's the best fighter on the planet and is a lock for the HOF at only 30. Yes, Nery can bang, but Inoue also has some very underrated defence and boxing skills, the only time he's been hurt was in Donaire 1, and Nonito is an ATG puncher at the weight and Inoue showed both an excellent chin and good survival instincts. Since then though, Inoue has improved significantly on his defence and is much better at getting his head off centre line and controlling distance. I know some are giving Nery the upset chance (I myself have considered a fair bit) but I do think that Inoue is too skilled and too talented to lose here.

This is a scary fight for Inoue fans. Inoue can clip him in the first round or in any round and stop him, but Nery has good power too. Anyone can get clipped and hurt. Inoue is the rightful favorite but should be probably -400 not -1600 or whatever he is. Hope Inoue knocks him out.

Put me down as being a 0% scared Inoue fan. :sisi1

If that blows up in my face a week from now, oh well, it means something crazy happened.

Judging by Nery's last fight with Hovannisyan I don't think Nery really presents anything that should make him favored over Inoue other than a puncher's chance. Great fight but it also shows Nery's flaws with his lower guard and exposed body.

Did you ever find out? I did some searching and I can’t find anywhere to buy tickets. I did see rumours that it’s a raffle-based system but I’m not sure if that’s true.

Not sure if anyone here as any experience with going to live fights in Japan

Inoue is going to cook Nery's ass like he's dining at Wagamama and then some members of the Yamanaka clan are going to jump Nery in the airport before he boards his flight. Mark my words, Nery is going to pay for everything he has done and he's going to be a very sore boy on that flight back home.

Hovannisyan was whooping his ass for long spells in their fight and Nery would've lost that fight without his PEDs to help him hang in there.
