You made that up in your head. I simply pointed out that he's opting to not use what is widely deemed to be a puncher's gloves in Reyes after trying them for the Donaire fight since the topic is increasing punching power.

Inoue wrapping his hands as allowed in Japan is fine, and Fulton's team raising it as a concern also is fine.

As I said before, they did this several days out exactly so that they could deal with it. It would only be a ***** move if they waited until the night of the fight.

Canelo, Golovkin, and Pac, in Nevada and Texas. Those are super high profile fights, so we hear about it.

Depending on the fight location, both fighters can wrap their hands in any way they want as long as it falls under the commission's rules.

Apparently well according to @shadow111 Inoue has agreed to wrap his hands a different way. IDK.

OK I get you now. He wore Winning in the first Donaire fight, but in the 2nd he wore Reyes, I'm guessing because of Donaire's demand. All I'm saying is looking at the Winning gloves he's used in a lot of his KOs, they look pretty tight. They don't actually look like "pillows". You may find an article that describes winning gloves as pillows but how accurate is that?

One thing about Winning gloves is that it's said that they protect your hands the best. Another thing I'm wondering now is do you think there's any correlation between wearing Winning vs Reyes and how he wrapped his hands?

Anotherwords do we know that he's always put tape on the skin (even when he wore winning) or is it possible that he only did that because he was using Reyes gloves?

So do you need help understanding that when a fighter, particularly a puncher, moves up in weight, one of the first questions is always if his power will carry up?

Not a difficult concept for anyone else but you.

Well that's what the news report said that Joker shared. And that was the demand that Fulton's trainer clearly laid out at the press conference, when he said he wouldn't send his fighter out if Inoue's hands were wrapped that way.

You simply cannot determine how hard or tight a glove looks just by looking at it. It's a completely smooth and uninterrupted surface. Unless you're suggesting Winning manufactures gloves specially for Inoue and turns them into puncher's gloves, but then why wouldn't Inoue just wear the de facto puncher's gloves in Cleto-Reyes?

But is ALWAYS a question of whether the power will carry up.

    Not a difficult concept.

I'm not saying that, I'm guessing he prefers wearing Winning. After all, Winning is standard in Japan, those gloves are manufactured in Japan. Most Japan fighters wear winning since it's a Japanese glove. Why would he wear anything different? Do we know why he wore Reyes in Donaire 2? Was that Donaire's demand?

If he's as big a monster puncher as pac was he should knock out Fulton.

They excel at protecting hands. Vast majority of professional boxers from Floyd to Pac to Canelo and down on wear Winning gloves during sparring (in 10 or 16 oz. spec, most likely).
