He held all 4 belts before any1 ever. He was WBO champ first and after he got IBF n WBC and he beat the WBA champ but WBA didnt sanction the unification with the WBO becauze back then they werent considered real world title yet
He was over hyped a bit but not a hype job. Not a good featherweight era but he beat the majority of the division and beat all 4 belt holders. He was super talented and only lost to barrera after getting a little fat out of shape and having too much money in the bank and not listening to emanuel steward at the end
i rate him like i do a beterbiev, naturally gifted enough to trouble all but the elite. they just used different sets of gifts. naz had amazing reflexes and balance, which amplified his power. he could sit on punches others cant. but a great boxer he was not, and that limits him vs elite fighters.
I think GRJ would win 9-3 or something around that, I'd favor prime Loma to beat Hamed 11-1, with Hamed winning the first round while Loma downloads all the data, maybe even get a body shot knockout in later rounds as Hamed fades
anyone that thinks naz was a hype job needs to go watch what he did to auggie sanchez, the guy who beat the **** out of mayweather
I don't see Hamed beating GRJ. Anyone else is fair game. I'm not sure Barrera, Marquez or Morales would get past GRJ at 126 either.
I get Hamed isn't the most likable. The Barerra whooping was sweet viewing. But too many people now not giving him his dues.
