quite overated by the brits, but who isnt overated by the brits. just listen to them tell you what haye is going to do to the klits. this thread is filled with excuses on why nas looked like he looked against barrera and why he quit when he quit. i believe he relied on his power and reflexes to win his fights and whenn he stepped up to the top tier he saw that that was not going to be enough and his reflexes were only going to get slower. nas was a great entertainer and very exciting to watch. he was good for boxing and cashed in on his unique fighting style. not atg but certainly world class. i wish there were more like him today.
No but more than good enough to be, if he didnt split with Ingle and fall out of love with the game he'd have cemented his place as an ATG with not much problems and be regarded as better than EM/MAB/JMM when looking back, i already see him on atleast equal footing with them and JMM is my fav current fighter. Its ashame that he has allowed the haters the ability to have misguided views about him and how good he was. Also correct to say that he is hated on more due to being British, thats without doubt.
Seen both, see no difference in terms of raw ability taking into account that Steve Robinson (who incidently was one of my favourite fighters EVER) was so limited, even compared to Sanchez. Against Robinson Naz had an on-day, that's all. Every fighter has one performance that makes people think that a fighter is better than they actually are.
I love the way you bulk that list with worthless accomplishments . The ONLY thing of significance is the fighters he fought. He fought most of them when they were either on the way down, or the fighters weren't that good anyway, or in a weight division they didn't belong in. Paul Ingle is an exception, and his best win.
