Ive seen you bring this vision thing up a few times, but the fact is you nor anyone else knows whether nates vision was really seriously in doubt. I just personally believe there have been other fighters in the past that have fought through that sort of problem.

    :patsch It's helpless.

Explain to me how.. based on the rules.. this is an obvious No Contest? The fight was not stopped on the cut... so you can throw the controversy about the cut being ruled a punch out the window. In other words... you can throw the headbutt out the window, because there is NO way of proving that the hemorrhage came from the headbutt. That is why it is OBVIOUS that this is a TKO. You guys are operating under the "guess" that Campbell's hemorrhage came from the headbutt. Why? Because Campbell had a cut on his eyebrow? That's silly. Any of those punches that were bouncing off of Campbell's head could have caused that hemorrhage just as easily. All this nonsense is doing is completely robbing Bradley from the great performance that he was putting together.

Smart depending on how you look at it. Israel Vasquez suffered an EXTREMELY WORSE eye injury, he has recovered after rest and treatment, but financially will always be better than Campbell.

    So economically, Vasquez was smarter.

Cotto, Juan Diaz, and many other fighter have NOT been the same after a cut caused a by a headbutt, yet still fought through it.

Why not? Who's to say Campbell would lose his vision??? Who's to say Ortiz wouldn't of gotten a brain hemorrage???

You are applying double standards.>>WHY? Where does this Campbell LOVE come from?????

I highly doubt Campbell would ever want to get in the ring with Bradley again.

    SPOT ON!

The worse part is that Bradley performed extremely well, and deserves to be the winner, because he infact won the fight.

-The doctor did not stop the fight because of the cut.
-The ref did not stop the fight because of the cut.
-The fight was stppoed because of an INTERNAL injury, not an external, that could have been inflicted by any of the punches.

widdow is right on this one...the TKO will stand if it was stopped due to an eye injury.

Look how Nate reacted after the headbut. He was clearly trying to get the refs attention. No punch landed to warrant Nates reaction. Plus Nate clearly stated he could not see after the but. His actions clearly show this. It was only after the but was nate lying on the ropes. He was not the same. The ref is supposed to stop the action and check the fighters after the but takes place.

Yes Bradley was performing very well i dont want to take that away but this is not a three round fight. and the rules state that if the fight is stoped before round 4 due to a accidental clash of heads it will be ruled a no contest. The ref ****ed up.

if he had gone blind in his eye like he said, nearly ALL boxers would quit (i'm not talking about an eye swollen shut or blood running in the eye), and if they didn't it's not heroic it's stupid.

So because Vasquez fought on with a detached retina means everyone has to do the same?

Im sorry but if Vasquez couldn't see and he fought on. He's very stupid.

Were those two seeing spots ??

Look up what a vitreous hemorrhage does if excessive bleeding occurs.
Anyone could of get a brain hemorrhage, but if anytime fighter knows that there chances of one just went up about to about 70%, do you think all of them are going to get in the ring / continue to fight?

    There is no double standards.

Nate Campbell could not see out of his eye/ seeing spots and he quit.

Ortiz was being beaten up badly. Cut from a punch, knocked down twice.
He quit when it got tough.

To even compare the two is stupid.

One quit to save his eye.

The other quit because it got too tough. Unless you want to pull the Ortiz wasn't going to win and he shouldn't take that kind of beating card.

Yea. He's not going to want to get into the ring with Bradley again. :patsch

The worse part of that fight happened after the head butt and even then it wasn't that bad.

Actually, he won two rounds and only dominated the third because of an illegally caused injury.

That's not a "won fight" in my book.

I mean damn, we had Tarver - Dawson II shoved down our throats.

Campbell - Bradley II isn't nearly as bad on paper. There's actually a reason to do it.

Campbell gets my support. I don't even care about the eye situation, which is obviously a legitimate threat and the man was clever enough to think of his health, since Nate was wearing clothes in memory of Vernon and Arturo.
That is what I call class. I hope he gets a rematch (and I hope he get back to his former self cause he would have lost the fight).
