Nathan Cleverley - Jean Pascal Who wins..

Personally think Clev is talented, however agree with other posts he has hasn't fought a quality puncher yet & to me is a couple of levels below world class..

I really like Pascals style & could see him KO'ing Clev within 4 rounds...

I just don't see Clev hurting the big name Light heavys at the moment..

Pascal would not of been beating guys like Brancolion at 22.

 

I think Pascal KO's him, Clev gets tagged a fair bit. Would like to see him tighten his defence before he steps up

Pascal turned pro at 22. It's hardly a fair comparison.
At a comparative stage of his career he would've murdered Brancalion.
In fact I wouldn't be afraid to put Bellew in there with Brancalion as soon as he's able to go the full 12 rounds.

i think clev looked great last night but he most deffinately isnt ready for a fight like pascal. Although Clev does seem big for the weight and has the speed. theres not one easy world title fight for clev, dawson, pascal and cloud..... oh by the way there are 'welsh' fans on the 606 forums who are actually complaining that clev had a unionjack on his shorts... what a shame.

 

Pascal would knock Clev out I'm afraid at the moment - he's too easy to hit right now.

We need to see Clev in with a real puncher before we get over excited about him...he's not fought anyone who can properly punch apart from maybe the very green Danny Macintosh. If/when he comes through a fight having been tagged by a proper puncher, then we can get excited!

Clev's good...but he needs to improve his defence before going on to bigger and better things. He's only 22 - plenty of time.

I can't even see why we are thinking about this contest now...At the moment I think that Clev would get beat. But in 18mths time when he has been fulll time and had much more European and tougher fights there is no reason why he cannot give Pascal something to think about.

Its a tough fight but not beyond him in the future...:yep

 

Pascal wins this one, no doubt in my mind, too soon for Clev, he aint had any big tests yet
