Nathan Cleverlys next opponent ?

Calling out every fighter under the sun, then being happy with the dross Frank gives him.

People always say 'Fighters can only beat what's put in front of them' I don't buy it, If a fighter wants a big fight bad enough they can persuade there promoter, can't stand Cleverly.

 

Kessler could be a big fight for Nathan this summer.

 

Unless he's declined big time, I think it would be a pretty comfortable win for Kessler in my humble opinion.

 

He`s got years in front of him to fulfill his potential but the problem being a world champion when u havent long left school is alot is now expected of him but im sure he will deliver in time.
Maybe Cleverly will be able to go it alone but as of now he`s just got to fight who Frank puts in front of him. Im sure other fighters around like Special K will be doing his fair share of name calling but does he really want to be fighting Pacquiao or Mayweather lets be ****in honest.

Call yourself a world champion, fight world class fighters. The best guys he's faced are Bellew and Murat. One is relatively unproven and the other has proven not to be world class.

Karpency was a flat out bum who wouldn't have beaten a relative novice like Billy Joe Saunders, and Cleverly still laboured like **** with him.

Time to vacate, sack his dad and have a year learning the basics whilst fighting regularly.

Personally I think he could beat Cloud, but ****** is never putting him in with Cloud.

I think he's got lots of potential, but until he's working with people that can bring that out of him he'll remain a highlight reel KO waiting to happen.

They could have made the Bellew rematch immediately, instead they put Clev in with a bum and left Tony on the shelf.

Him vs DeGale would make for a fun fight IMO. DeGale has plenty of flaws but given Clev's penchant for a tear up he'd play more into the hands of DeGale, rather than Groves IMHO.
