Are you serious? Floyd has no Aussie trademarks. Aussie fighters are traditionally very tough, with all action styles. Floyd is a defensive counter puncher, and a big mouth as well. Come to think of it I couldn't think of anyone who would fit in less as Aussie fighter. Agree with Kessler and Hatton though definitely.
Arturo Gatti i would have loved to have been an Aussie. Great heart, which all Aussies would embrace. Same goes for lots of Puerto Rican, Philipino & Mexican boxers too.
Gatti would be loved by any country. The guy was just a freak. Hopefully Katsidis can become our Gatti, although fingers crossed with a bit more talent.
Hopefully Katsidis can work on the defensive side of his game & we should see a much better talent than Gatti.
I agree that Katsidis definitely has the pulling power of Gatti. Hes definitely gonig to be an arena filler one day. I just hope he works on his defense, otherwise hed be in for a very rough night against some of the Mexican guys.
