wow well jon lets start at home.......get on the internet and find videos of GOOD shadow boxing this is something you can do almost anywhere next get yourself handwraps and leard the right way to put them on they will help you alot. start by doing 3 rounds of shadow to get loose then set up stations to work out at 1 rd sit ups 1rd push up 1rd jump rope 1rd heavybag im not sure what else you have but you can add in little thing like lunges and get out for a run at least everyother day start with a mile and work your way up.....as for the gym get in there asap coaches will help you so much and that is not that far it would be a nice bike ride or walk and remember to strech alot good luck these are very basic things you can do to get started learn your puches before anything do not learn bad form from the start it will be hard to get rid of......ohhh yeah the stance i was the same way make the switch over and get used to it it will not hurt to be good both ways but first try as a righty good luck
