    Whats happened to this guy?

If you don't know this young stud, Okay he's really nothing overly special, but i saw this kid on a FNF's show way back and fell in love with his style. I then watched him again to study his game a bit more (it may have been on a Allen Green vs a journeyman undercard on shobox which was second fiddle to me) where Smith fought an undefeated guy who couldn't crack an egg but the kid shone again after measuring off from an early bum rush.

Antwone does everything right in that squared circle. Like a cross between Mayweather's shoulder rolls with the lead rights and Bad Chad with the pivots and fighting going backwards. Reminded me a little of Steve Forbes with much more aggression. Couldn't wait to see him again, but he seems to have gone on the milk carton...any news?

He is on the Berto-Quintana undercard he is taking on Franklin Gonzlez over 10, nothing more then a keep busy fight. I'm not sure if it will be shown on Sky I have no idea how many of the undercard fights they are showing.

    :happy

Thanks for that royalt...I doubt Sky will show it, but i'll catch it somehow. :good

Have you seen him before? if so, what do you make of him? I'm just a sucker for good fundamentals, this kid is not the strongest, fastest, the biggest punchers nor the most athletic, but it means he's had to study and implement the basics plus he behaves like a fighter, he's just woven from that old school cloth of the Georgie benton's and Miguel Canto's where fighters with little physical gifts mastered the noble art and got it down to a tee. Something we don't see these days.

Sky might show it they do tend to show a decent portion of the undercard for the international fights even the **** undercards like Klitschko-Johnson.

I saw the last 3 rounds of his last fight and I like what I saw. I was very impressed by the way he finished off Henry Crawford and the ineptitude of the referee and Crawford's Corner. I really like fighters that have to work their way up as an opponent and have to work hard for ever inch they get in the rankings, definately someone I will be keeping an eye on.

I've just read that Smith could fight fellow prospect Mike Jones in the co-feature to Cotto-Foreman! What a great fight that would be, two up and comers fighting each other to establish themselves.

I'm not too impressed with his body punches, he commited an amatuer mistake. He stayed mostly straight backed when delivering his body shots. The only time he did bend and get the proper leverage he delivered perfectly. I think it is due to having an Amatuer trainer, nothing wrong with that but his body punching can be improved.

Was very impressed with the kid, he also looks like a bad mother****er, just his stone face after he'd stopped the guy, no celebration or nothing.

He was yelping like a dinasaur though, did my tits in.
