Im on the fence on this one.

  2. No more divisions you dumb ass.
Some huge heavies today started out as under 220.
David Tua started fighting at 201. Deontay Wilder who is 6'7 started at sub 220.
We dont need more gay divisions.
The CW division is the junior heavyweight division. It is proven that size does not matter. Haye beat Valuev. Dempsey beat Willard. Tyson beat Scaff.

  3. Really poorly thought out on your part. Valuev was 315 pounds. You expect a 7 foot tall man to weigh 250? Even the Klits would look decent at 260!

  4. I agree 100%. Skill matters much more than size. Skill always wins out.

Na I disagree. What really needs to happen is for heavyweight boxers get of their lazy rumps. There's only 4-5 decent heavyweights today and only 2 are actually considered very good while by others borderline great. The weight isn't the problem quality is at an all time low. Jesus I'd hate to think what a prime Razor Rudduck, Tommy Morrison, Ray Mercer, David Tua, or Corrie Sanders would do to Tony Thompson, Adamek, Arreola, Chambers, and yes even Haye. I think today's HW's actually need testosterone injections because they honestly suck.

Not this **** again. Outside of Bowe, Lewis and the Klits, there hasn't been a great heavyweight over 240. In the last 20 years Holyfield, Tyson, Moorer, Byrd, Haye, Ibragimov, Jones, Liakovich, Chagaev and Povetkin have all held titles, and all were around 220 or less at their best weight.

Two outstanding larger fighters doesn't necessitate a new division. If it becomes more of a problem, the more logical solution is to raise the cruiser limit to 205, and possibly fit in a junior heavyweight division or something around 190 to bridge the gap to light-heavy.

    agreed on the bold

this is an overdone arguement that doesnt stick for me, more weights more belts even less comp?

you know a jr hwt div would be like cruiser without the hw label theres no money the jr hwts would just fight at hwt for the bucks

    i kinda agree.

people like adamek and haye got nu business fighting a vitali klitschko.

the size gaps between heavyweights tend to be extreme for some guy thats just over the cruiserweight limit to be fighting a vitali or a price.

but then again if this happened then someone like deontay wilder would be the vitali klitschko of that division. I dont even think deontay wilder would have any competition at that division.

but then again who knows maybe some heavyweights would cut down.

youd definetly see more in shape guys over 200 fighting.

its actually a mayb for me. im on the fence with this one.

you know they would kinda also have to make a weight for people between cruiser and lhw.

something like a 185 lb weight limit or something. theres people who fit in those categories when it comes to natural bodytypes.

Nah. Cruiser just needs life breathed into it, so it becomes more attractive for natural cruisers/tiny heavies to stay and not chase the glamour and money at HW with all those giants about.

totally agree that has always been the divisions down fall every time a great champ emerges they move up

Haye Adamek are 2 of the last 3 Ring champs they went up

Cunningham to his credit has been a road warrior and has made a career there

even a successful and liked guy like Huck tested the waters and may test again

historically Holyfield moved up and a guy like Moorer a debut LHWT avoided it all together

it just needs a star there have been some good to great fighters with good title runs but none have caputred the imagination of most fans or stayed long enough

How about making cruiser 220 max, and HW 220+?
