I've been talking about him since he turned pro.. my favorite prospect around MW. Jacobs hasn't stepped up from fighting F levels yet, but he has real potential. Impressive natural ability, excellent poise, and very good all around boxing skill. He seems like a great guy too. It's obviously too early to talk about him being the future MW champion, but there's something special about him IMO.. at least more special than any other young fighters around MW.

He fought again on Telefetura last Friday. Hopefully he will at least step up to D levels soon. He's 21 years old though, so there's plenty of time.

Jacobs is going to be very good. I was just watching the Olympic Trials where he dropped a decision, but I feel won. I heard Estrada beat him easy but I don't agree. I thought Jacobs scored a knockdown when they said he didn't and he landed more puhches on Estrada. Whatever Olympic Boxing is what it is.

And oh yeah Anthony Peterson is not garbage at all.

I just saw a spot on TV about a young middleweight from Brooklyn named "Mean Joe Greene". Not the football player. He's 19-0 (14) and the 2 seconds I saw of him, he looked decent. Looking at his record on boxrec, he seems to have elevated his competition since '06. Who knows? Maybe he's one to watch.
