I'm really up for that fight mate. So I'm kinda excited for the interview too.

I've interviewed Agbeko before so I'll be working on getting him too.

Looking into doing a 'coaches corner' piece too

Would involve a member of the team going to the big UK gyms and filming/photographing things like how to throw the ideal jab, hook etc etc.

The coaches corner is a great idea. A boxing journal that has interesting features, good opinion from people in the industry (which you seem to have) and also a good focus on the knowledge i.e. the trainers, methods, styles, training camps, psychology of fighting etc.... This would make your magazine stand out and very interesting. I would say this is the brand and gap in the market that you should try to focus on.

Basically, it would correct the problem with Boxing News and Fighting Fit (from the perspective of a boxing fan who cares less about the other combat sports) - by coming in a serving that niche really well. Hence, the boxing reader will read every page and it is free from top heavy content on filler and fight reports that dont get read because they do not give you any more than what you have already read on the internet. And at the same time bring in the really good boxing content that goes to Fighting Fit.

I hope you get those subscriptions because I know how expensive these things are to produce - as much as £1000 per page with editorial images. Big gamble but potentially great rewards. Good luck!
