The scale where:

1. Fury was knocked down twice, only counted for one
2. Fury was never warned or had a point deducted for blatant elbows
3. Fury lost just as many rounds as he won and was also knocked down

Lucky Fury had a ride home after the fight, no freeway bridge would have been safe.

 

I mean I’m all for debate but this post is just plain ignorant. He was a world champion, beating Andy Ruiz, Chisora twice, Takam, and having a very close fight with Whyte. In what world does he lose to the top 20 cruiserweights??? You are making no sense.

 

Fury’s fight with Ngannou was one of the most embarrassing displays from a world champion in boxing I’ve ever seen. He looked utterly clueless on what to do in there and imo was fortunate to escape with a victory. The clear illegal elbow he landed should have cost him a point. The fact that people can even talk about there being a robbery is just embarrassing for Fury.

I was a massive fan of his when he dethroned Klitschko and came back to beat Wilder, he lost me when he fought Chisora a third time and nearly lost to an MMA guy.

 

Ngannou lost 7-3 according to Boxrec consensus, against maybe the worst version of Fury since 2010. Usyk should get the chance to win for real.
