He's no.2 for me, behind PBF.. he could be three also, but he seriously showed the boxing fans last night that he's a great fighter. Kessler will prove when he's gone, that Calzaghe really left the SMW division beating the best, that will reign a long time after he's gone.
yeah. and pac looked a bit lacklustre last time out. the barrera fight was poor. he'll need to improve on that to beat marquez. :yep
Yeah but Calzaghe cancels that out with his 10year reign as a champion, and he's unified the belts in a single division which I think is more impressive.
Do you think if a guy like Rafa Marquez was KO'ed by someone like Victor Rabanales, Francisco Mateos and Genaro Garcia, he would be on the top 10 list? Get a better grip. :nut
yeah. but isn't the definition of an elite p4p fighter much closer to one who has actually won championships at multiple weights? just asking... :think
The top are now set in stone for the moment.Depending how you judge depends on the order you have it. 1.Mayweather 2.Calzaghe 3.Pacman If Mayweather doesn't beat Hatton as convincingly as Calzaghe with all the advantages he has for that fight in Vegas then he could lose his 1 spot.
You might be right. I still think Pac's losses combined with out of his last 5 fights, 4 of them are comming off losses - Puts Calzaghe ahead.
maybe. but pac has KO'd elite fighters like sasakul, ledwaba, barrera and morales while the only elite fighter calzaghe has won against (via decision) is kessler, if he can be considered elite in the first place.
