Thanks, i used to buy them at my local grocery store but then it all stopped. I never got the digital subscription, i was just surviving off of what The Ring website offers for free.

Nigel Collins? Oh dear. We'll see his personal friends like Paulie Alaya get awarded The Ring championship while only holding one belt & more deserving guys like Vic Darchinyan (who held all the belts but wasn't Nige's mate) passed over. The magazine has already gone under twice under his stewardship. Find someone with more of an international perspective rather than a nationalistic American one. Embrace the international audience rather than being petrified of it. You might manage to sell a few more copies. And Nige, there's no need to put popular fighters on the cover of every issue. Try promoting your own champions if you want The Ring championship belt to be taken seriously. Why should anyone else take it seriously if you won't? My personal favourite effort there was Mike Tyson being put on the cover after Kostya Tszyu flatlined Zab.

Been subscribing through discountmags.com for the last several years. 2 years $24 with auto renew discount lock. They aren't offering it anymore but I'm keeping my eyes open. Doubt I would pay full subscription price

If Nige is the editor again, I'm not subscribing. Tired of reading how great some mediocre Yankee Doodle Dandy is.

Imagine how many times Jared Anderson would have been on the cover with Nige in charge.

Nige would have gone overboard on Jake Paul v Mike Tyson also. Putting Mike Tyson on the cover of every second issue was Nige's attempt at originality.

How long before Nige sticks Jake Paul on the cover of The Ring in an attempt to flog copy?

I've read more issues than you ever will. I won't be reading any more if Nige is in charge.

Doubt it. I've been subscribing pretty much non-stop since 1970

I use the ones Nige edited as toilet paper.

Are the articles well informed? Haven't ever read much of an issue. I hope it's not "sports guys" like Chris Mannix and Mark Kreigel writing articles about fighters they're trying to hype. Seems like you'd get better opinions on ESB.

I have never gained much from boxing mags.

Forums were always above mags. But If Ring can make a worthwhile product for keeping historical purposes, I am for it.
