Let me tell you something Klion, I miss having Taylor around, Pavlik and his fans are beyond a BORE(but Hopkins is going to ice his ass anyway, no 1 dimensional fighter is going to beat Hopkins).

Taylor was fun to complain about, the press conferances were a blast, the fights always had drama in one way or another and even the interviews and HBO specials were very fun events. Pavlik.....:-(:)-(:)-(:)-(:)-(:)-((

    BORING.

At least being a Taylor hater, Jermain provided entertainment and fuel for the hate. Pavlik's fans are irritation and he's incredibly sloppy and boring to watch, UGH.

Personally I get tired of people acting like Ouma and Spinks were the norm for Taylor. The man fought the people he was told to fight including BHop x 2, Wright (he offered Winky a rematch,) and Pavlik.

TFFP, you should stop posting on these forums because every time you make a statement you embarass yourself. You love to denegrate Pavlik (and most non-Euro fighters for that matter), but think Froch has a shot at beating Taylor? Have you ever seen Froch fight? He has horrible defense and throws wide punches. Taylor will school him for 12 rds. Easy UD Taylor.

You are the most pro-European biased poster on this forum. Sorry pal, but you need to stick to soccer and cricket as boxing is still a sport dominated by the Americas (North, Central and South if you don't know geography).

Well, they are haters. And haters aren't objective. And i can admit that i'm a Calzaghe hater so i am not objective sometimes when it comes to him. :D But at least i can admit it. And i just watched the Calzaghe/Hopkins fight again recently and had it for Calzaghe 7-5.

Competitive against an OLD Hopkins, and Wright, who wasn't a natural MW anyway. Against those versions, he should have won those fights, going away. That he needed HBO's judges to secure his victories for him is indicative of just HOW mediocre he is.

See, it's not that I think that Froch is anything special, it's that I think so little of Taylor. He a gift-decision collecting hype job, and I think Froch beats him.

Again, if one dimensional shaky chinned Pavlik can beat Taylor, why can't harder hitting SMW's do the same? What is the difference?

It was the same excuse before Pavlik 1 -

'Pavlik's never fought B-Hop or Wright level fighters, he's sure to lose'.

    Look how that worked out.

Carl Froch? Who in God's name has he fought to even get a good bearing of what he can do against some of the best? We know what JT is capable of against the best. He might not beat the best but he sure can hang with the best. JT would simply outclass Froch. Difference in class. Far superior hand speed and ability to put together combinations together. JT can counter Froch all night if it comes down to a boxing match. Please.

Gee, you guys are so funny. When it comes to a guy like Pavlik, and to some degree, Margarito, it's not just about measurables. Pavlik has incredible stamina, determination, heart, and workrate. Not to mention heavy hands, a solid chin, and great size. When you combine all of that, you have a guy that's tough to beat. And his hand speed and boxing skills aren't that bad.

    Carl Froch? :rofl

Froch vs Pascal is a perfect fight to separate the contender from the pretender. Taylor is a lot more skilled and accomplished than either of them.
