As a Mexican boxing fan, I hope Pacquiao pulls the upset and decapitates DLH if Oscar actually makes/takes this fight. If 147 is where he wants to be, I'd rather see him fight the winner, **** even the loser, of cotto-mosley, hatton-mayweather, even cintron-williams.

 

Jesus...after reading through the whole thread, I wouldn't be too heartbroken if Oscar did the expected and wiped the floor with Pacquiao. If for no other reason, to give PacDbest a bit of a reality check.

 

I have zero, and I mean zero, interest in seeing this fight. Please tell me I'm not alone here.

 

Oscar would make 144 as "easily" as your avatar.

Oscar had to get buck to make 147 eight years ago. I don't see him making 144 at his age comfortably, and maybe not at all, unless he sets up camp in Pyonyang.

Oscar's stamina is already a huge question mark. If he actually got himself down to 144, I'd probably take Paq just on principle. Oscar might not be able to walk under his own power after ten rounds.

 

Why would you even want a fight against Oscar? Do you not realise just how ridiculously over matched Pac would be? Or that there are so many good fights in the preceeding divisions?

 

If you look at that picture, thats Pac at 130 lbs, who then weighs 144 at fight time.

Castillo in that picture weighed 135 lbs, and I believe near 150 at fight time.

There is only 5 pounds difference in the actual weighin, but look at the body frames.....Castillo has alot more mass to him. Pac is alot skinnier.

A move to 147 lbs to fight DLH is ridiculous. It would take some doing for DLH to get down to 147 lbs, but anybody worth his salt at 147 lbs would just blow Manny Pac away......Cotto, Mosely, DLH, and more than a few non-elite 147 lbs would beat Pac at 147 lbs comfortably.


I'm afraid this whole talk of DLH-Pac is just a hoax created by the Pac hype machine to get him more publicity.....originally they were talking out of there ass that Pac would fight Juan Diaz, but they've even backtracked on that!
