You people always overrate your fighters too much. I've read comment on here about how Lee Mcgregor was special and was knocking everyone out. I just saw him for the first time in the European Championships and he lost in the first round, he didn't look nothing like the guy some of yous claimed he was that that's for sure.

Lee McGregor won a split dec but beat Omar El Hag in Belgrade final UD. A wins a win. More hyped U.K. Ams have been stopped in comps. First time seeing him?

I heard McGrail was special, stopped in WSB. Fred Evans too, even good fighters have off nights but Lee won.

my bad. I watched the fight but must've missed the decision, I assumed he'd lost it looked like a loss to me., yeah first time I've seen him and thought he'd be much better judging by the comments on him online, but I'll watch his next fight before I judge him too much.. he's got a Russian next though so that'll probably be tough. Are you Alex Arthur?

I'm not Alex Arthur mate. Was a close fight, thought Lee was a bit wild early but clearly trying to keep El Hag off him but once he got some timing, I thought he landed the cleaner/harder blows. Also dropped that boy twice but didn't count due to inside glove. He's got a tough one next, number 3 seed from Russia.

And remember he's a big talent in Scottish terms, easily one of the best Scotland has. Nobody has claimed he's Shakur Stevenson. And as I said, he has already beat that lad on UD recently in Belgrade final & described it as a war so he knew it was a tough opener.

Lazzerini won yesterday, & Forrest too. We're doing not bad. Now the comp really starts as the seeds come in.

Hopefully the team can claim a medal or two. This European Championships is arguably the hardest competition in the world. No weak nations.

It's a good standard. Adeel Ahmed fought today but I missed it, can't find his result. I thought Luke McCormack struggled vs southpaw Spaniard but was awarded UD. Galal Yalal looked very good & just watching Robbie McCechnie right now.

Sean Joseph McCombe won earlier for Ireland on SD but I thought he won clear, boxed well.

Good news. I was watching it back & feed switched to another fight. His opponent was tall & rangy so was expecting tough fight. Great result!

Wonder what is next for Reece, whether he'll go pro or not. Don't think he's involved in the GB set up is he, so might be a good time for it.

Nah I think it's Muhammad Ali that's GB, he's really good. Reece seems to have been around forever, only 22/23 as well. I thought he won the first rnd today then got picked off by taller fighter. Pro will be viable option, don't see him making Olympic team.
