Listen. I can't be bothered with your stupidity. I've explained why I feel he's an under rated fighter & that's that, end of subject.
The whole point in this thread is that the OP wants to bring to everyone's attention that Nick Blackwell hasn't actually got a really solid win on his resume. Just in case anyone didn't know... However, it is pretty obvious that this guy has got bags of talent and has come up the hard way. He is only young and is still improving. He basically beat Max Bursak and got robbed and got a draw against Khomitsky (who destroyed Etches and Buglioni). Sure John Ryder should be a step up but I have a feeling Blackwell's ever improving skill set and natural ability will be too much for the Gorilla. To be honest, I think this is the start for Blackwell.
Yeh I agree with what your saying Murph, as I originally said, he's very underrated. The OP has had explanations of how I rate Blackwell, regardless of his "best win" & instead of accepting the reasons he's stuck on repeat.. Cheers though
he boxed the shi t out of bursak and got robbed on a kalle event i think it really was a shocking a decision , alot of fighters would have packedit in after that
Im a big fan of Nick, but actually I couldnt argue with the Bursak decision. Despite the flash knockdown, Nick never really got a grip on the fight I feel, and he allowed Bursak enough leeway to eke out a win. Away from home especially you have to clearly stamp your authority on a fight, and Nick didnt do so IMO. That said the 2015 Nick Blackwell is much improved, and would easily beat Bursak if they fought again now. I think he can beat Ryder, no disrespect to John.
imo he clearly won that fight but i do get what you say about being the away from home fighter max knew he lost just look at his face when they called the win for him he knew it had been hand w****d with a massive bow on it for him
Great post! Expect a strong and relentless Blackwell as per but you`ll also see a more improved version technically, better inside fighting and a more persistant jab, ive heard great things from his camp

The new super-jab is the most notable improvement Ive seen in Blackwell. It will be central to his chances against Ryder that he not have that jab taken away by Ryders southpaw style. :good
Correct, they have been working on that, plus Ryder can get sloppy at times , he best not against Blackwell
I think we are all in agreement here, except OP who has his own agenda. Really looking forward to this fight to be honest. This is exactly the type of fight that could and should be headlining the Saturday Fight Night cards. It is a disgrace that the British title seems to have been put out to pasture. Its currently billed as 5th on the card behind Joshua and the four world title fights. 7pm start me thinks in front of a half empty arena. Going back to the fight, I really like Blackwell here. Think his jab could be key as he has reach advantages and he is quite slick. Ryder is obviously a big lump though and will try and be on his chest all night.
All I asked was a simple question What is Nick blackwells best win? Why do you consistently avoid giving a straight answer? What's the point in posting on this thread asking what Nick blackwells best win is if you can't or won't answer the question
His best win then, for arguments sake - I'd say is against either Mathews (baring in mind Nick was a 6 or 7 fight novice with no amateur expierence at all. Either that or Carruthers (whose record was a Lot better than it suggests...nick out boxed him from first to last , something a novice Eubank didn't manage.) His best performance / result however would be against Khomitsky - who we all know quite well now. My reasons for the comments still stand , your not asking his best win as you say as innocent as that... But there you go, there's my opinion.
