he's just trying to stress people out. Toney has truly one of the greatest chins of all time. Eubanks chin was very good but not quite on that level. and it doesn't matter because Benn wouldn't be landing flush bombs on Toney. he rolls with punches too well and Benn is predictable to a point
Um, this is Sam Peter who even landing his best shots couldn't KO Waldo right?? 3 KD's, and those from panic/back of the head shots? Methinks young Samuels power is very over rated at the moment.
4 people stood up to Benn's bombs why can't Toney be the fifth?? And people in britain are bias to Benn. I've seen alot of Benn's fights it's not like your the only ones who have seen him fight.
And? Waldo is hardly the measuring stick of big punchers now is he? I think Toney is just too slick for Benn, but I really don't think Toney is as "unknockoutable" as people think.
Neither do I - it's been proven that if hit flush by a middleweight he can be hurt - in my mind if Benn were to hit him flush he can hurt Toney. Of course, Benn couldn't hit him flush, so....
If Toney came in looking as bad, drained, and ill-prepared as he did against RJJ (I think that was at 160), Benn would have KO'd him, IMO. Pretty much any other version of Toney in the 160-168 lbs. range, IMO, would have taken Benn out. Too big and too good of a chin.
The bit i meant to quote was Benn is made for Toney, IMO. Toney's short hooks and short uppercuts with either hand each would constantly get their first, clipping Benn before he can load up his shots.
First off the RJJ vs Toney fight was at 168 anyone who knows boxing knows this. And if RJJ couldn't KO or even hurt Toney then no way Benn could. Jones was faster and hit harder then Benn at 168. And Toney did a good job at making Jones miss in there fight if nothing else.
Are you ******ed? He took huge power shots from Peter that didnt drop him and you think that a jab had the power to drop him and it had nothing to do with balance?
