I remember when somebody said that they heard Nigel dj'ing out one night. I said "was he any good?" and they said "he must of still had his gloves on as he was ****!". Hahahahaha Seemed like a really humble bloke though. Always amaze's me when you get someone like Benn who comes across as really nice and humble OUTSIDE of the ring, become an absolute ****ING KILLER inside of it. The complete opposite of one another. Like an alter-ego.

I was with him and Steve Collins recently. He is very happy living in Spain and is managed by CWH Promotions who give him regular work on the after-dinner speaking circuit. He is in great shape, has a beautiful family and is in a great place mentally and spiritually.
Who would have thought ey?! I love Nigel Benn such a unique sort of boxer. I love the way he was in the army and sorta fell into boxing then realised he was good then went pro made some waves and then it was world titles and public adoration.
Eubank was very impulsive, rarely wore the same suit twice and was rarely home- always staying at the most expensive hotels in London or New York. And very rarely ever payed any tax.
So much for "it's a mugs game" and "I'm only doing it for the money". Benn had all sorts of leeches around him and it's great to know he's secure.
How do you mean? Was Nige a big spender as well back in the day then? Goes without saying about Eubank.
I heard a story that he was bankrupt and had to sell all his titles for money. He is supposidly a pastor now in Spain
But Eubank kept making statements like 'I'm the one fighter who's going to retire with all his money and faculties and not come back or end up broke'(not quote) While Benn was actually clubbing and partying before most of his fights even, ordering champaigne and cocaine for everyone else
