Floyd is truly a tremendous fighter, but he is greatly benefited from the era he fights in. If you just look at his competition welterweight it has not been tremendous. Then you add in the names that are on his resume compared to who could have been on his resume is less. You do have to give him pleanty of positive accolades for Corrales and Castillo. His lightweight work is off the the charts. His welterweight work is not impressive in my opinion.

Fighters Floyd could have fought at welterweight but did not
    Pac
    Martinez
    Margarito
    Prime Cotto
    Williams
    Prime Mosley

The omission of Pac is inexcusable and it will forever damage his legacy and it should.

    Yea you missed my point.

Barerra is HOF. He was not prime when Pac beat him.

This dumb mutha ****a lists "prime Mosley.":rofl

Floyd tried to get that fight in 99 when he was at 130; yes Shane was prime. In 2006 Shane was not prime.

    Martinez; LMFAO.:rofl:roflMartinez can't make 147.

PW was not on Floyd's level ever. The guy was not even know till he beat Margarito in July 2007 and Floyd ended up fighting a #8 world ranked Hatton who was prime and undefeated. PW was never in position to fight him. That "prime" Williams your referencing got outboxed by Carlos Quintana.

Margarito-LOL Floyd left Top Rank and wasn't going to do business again. Plus he fought a much more dangerous De La Hoya. Not to forget that Margarito wouldn't have made it to the fight. He would have been busted by Ellerbe in the dressing room with illegal wraps. He ended up beating Mosley who beat the "prime Margarito."

Prime Cotto at 140 wanted 0 parts of Floyd and said it himself.:patsch

Pacquiao continues to duck em till this day.:happy:happy

Actually Henry Armstrong won 44 straight fights from featherweight to welterweight. That's 5 divisions.

Shut the **** up! dont no body give a **** about a fighter holding a 0, all I give a **** about is seeing the best fights made and this little mother ****er went out of of his way through out his career to avoid some of the best fights that could have been made at specific points in his career.
