No Friday Night Fights????

    I watched it, it was the first time I watched that fight also, I was doing something else the night it aired, Adamek looked patiently good in the fight.

    Nothing makes clearer that boxing's Golden Age is over. There was no such thing as a card that couldn't be filled at a moment's notice, with the glut of top fighters in every gym in the country.

    The only thing more ubiquitous in a gym than the sound of speed bags and jump ropes was the ringing of phones from promoters for last-minute subs.

    Fighters always stayed in shape, for just that call; there were so many shows -- boxing was HUGE!!!

    FNF usually does not have good fights. It's a shame, they could put on some really good ones if they tried.

    Hey they are usually one sided show case fights but FNFs has got some of the best boxing up to date news going. They have some great in house guest commentators/boxers too. When Hagler was there it was awesome. Not to mention we get to see the up and comers.
