Had this been the first time Mayweather has been excused of "ducking" I could understand, but this ain't the first dance.

Get off your knees Sam! You're embarrassing yourself! Look I touched on that already. It's no secrect it's easy to fight against stable mates for obvious reasons. PAC has fought mostly top rank fighters b/c they are promoted under the same banner. But it would be a problem if Top Rank didn't have "TOP RANKED" fighters to compete against.

Now....lets look at Floyd who is promoted by Golden boy....Floyd has faught ALL golden boy fighters recently. JMM, DLH, Shane.......Are we top say Floyd should leave Golden Boy? Get a grip Sam...you are sounding desperate to defend Floyd when he's not making it any easier for his supporters who are now dwindling.

Why would anyone leave a promoter they like? When you hear all these horror stories about guys like Don, DLH even Bob. If you are good where you're at and you're getting HIGH PROFILE fights that build your legacy as a fighter why jump ship? No one is asking Floyd to jump ship from Gloden Boy to Top Rank......

 

People on ESB don't really know boxing and it feeds their ego to bash someone's post,thats why I don't waste my time giving a legitmate point ...its worthless because it makes them feel good to say negative things about a fighter that's living the life they want.....Floyd said this and I agree 100% ( AN OPINION IS LIKE AN ASS HOLE....EVERYONE HAS ONE)....Keep hating on Floyd the only thing most of you are doing is adding fuel to the fire ....Floyd is going to fight on his own terms ...POINT BLANK.

 

Maybe Manny feels he has no other choice but to stick with Arum!!! Arum is a great manipulator and probably has Manny brain washed. We all agree on this forum that Manny needs to leave top rank and take control over his own career. His name is big enough where he can call his own shots in and out of the ring and not let Arum dictate his every move.

 

See the difference between Floyd and Manny far as fighting guys in there stable is that Mayweather Promotions is his own entity. Golded Boy acts on his behalf but they don't dictate to Floyd who he should fight and when. When have you ever heard of Golden Boy saying oh Floyd has this date scheduled in Texas or Nevada and we have to find someone for that date in particular. NEVER!!!!



You also never hear Golden Boy saying well if we cant fight Pac then we will go with this Golden Boy fighter or this other Golden Boy fighter. That's because Floyd calls his own shots and will fight only the top dawgs like he says. Floyd came back to fight Manny and that is going to happen. It may not happen when Arum or we want it to but its going to happen.

Manny's got a contract obviously but the terms are always negotiable....Manny and Floyd are guys who have OPTIONS out the ass. Maybe Arum did brain wash Manny.....Maybe DLH brainwashed Floyd. Who knows? Who cares as long as they fight? But Manny is a fighter who fights and has people doing what he HIRED them to do. A promoter gets fights PERIOD! a Fighter "FIGHTS" Period. It's when A fighter like DLH or Floyd try wearing too manny hats in the boxing game that causes them to lose their edge or prevents them from fighting.

 

Manny and Floyd have their own "Promotional" company bro....but neither are liceneced to promote which is why they have licenced promoters like Top Rank and Golden Boy so they can make things happen. In that regard both Floyd and Manny are in the same boat. The only difference is the fact that Manny lets his promoter do the job Manny delegated to him...which is to find fights and promote those fights. Floyd is doing the same thing but he gums up the process by trying to not only do his promoters job, which is golden boy but also the job of the commission....at least when it comes to Manny. Which is why we don't see this fight happening.

If Floyd only fights the "top dawgs" why doesn't his resume prove that? He's got a good resume....but being a GREAT boxer his resuem comes up short. Usually a Great fighter has an equally great reusme..... like Leonard, Robinson, ALi and PAC.

You chose to ignore my points about dates and venue that Bob makes up for Manny and Manny has no say so. When have you ever seen GBP do some **** like that to or for Floyd??????? Ok....You seem to have miss the valid points I made or just couldn't grasp the common sense. I never said DLH dictates to Floyd who he fights. Bob doesn't dictate to manny whom he fights either. Bob simply gives Manny options to choose from and Manny makes the ultimate call.

Manny sought out Floyd who wasn't Top Rank.....and Bob pushed for the fight. So Manny has a say in whom he faces but leaves the particulars and polotics of BOXING to his promoters. Which is the difference between Floyd and manny.

Manny doesn't give a **** where he fights! Manny likes to fight and he knows his role. He leaves the particulars up to his promotional team...just like he leaves the coaching to Freddie and his nutrition to Ariza.

The only time Manny asked to fight somewhere was the Phillipines which he got when he fought 3K.

You completely missed the point I was making......The reason why Floyd is more difficult to get in the ring and to negotiate with is b/c he likes to hire those delegated to do a certain job but also wants to add his 2 cents which creates problems.....obviously.:yep
