    I do think Angulo ****ed up in that first round and the fight could have been a lot different but I wouldn't have a rematch right now. Angulo took a hell of a beating and Kirkland deserves his glory and to move onto bigger fights.

    Angulo needs to recover and come back slowly.

    Angulo beats him in a rematch, but let James fight Ishida again and LOSE again.

    That Mike Jones-esque 1st round is enough for me to justify the rematch. Give it time, though: Angulo took a beating.

    Yep :good

    Mind I said Kirkland should go onto bigger things, what is realistically bigger at 154? They won't put Canelo in there with him that's for sure.

    But Angulo definitely needs 2 or 3 fights before considering a rematch.

    Angulo was physically beaten down so hard tonight, that I think there could be permanant damage for him. This beating was remenescant of Mosley - Margo. James Kirkland hits like a heavyweight and Angulo was taking those punches flush repeatedly.

    :lol::rofl

    When Kirkland fought Ishida he got knocked down but he was never really hurt! It was more like he was caught cold and wasn't ready for war. This version of James Kirkland was a True Warrior.. When Perro caught him with that flush right hand he got up quick and was ready for battle! James would beat Ishida in a re-match!

    Angulo must of done the single most dumbest thing on his boxing career to punch himself out like that. He was handling Kirklands power well despite being backed up Kirkland was his for the taking it was a matter of time. Punching yourself out is not something Beristein preaches. Congrats to Mandingo he has improved, but I'm not fully convinced James beat Angulo but Angulo punched himself out. Him and Ortiz really surprise me with the poor decision making they been making inside the ring. Ortiz I can understand but Angulo? Very uncharacteristic of him to punch himself out like that. Yea wouldnt mind a rematch at all.

    Wasn't really hurt? Really? I guess that's why he kept falling down, eh? Because he wasn't really hurt.

    James has no idea how to deal with counter punchers. None. Ann Wolfe sucks, and so do Kirkland's boxing skills. Nothing but a face-first brawler.
