    Won two world titles, at two seperate weights outside of the UK. This is probably the biggest achievment of all

    Technically that isn't true.

    Hatton won the WBA 147 against Collazo in the States in 06..... then regained the IBF by beating Urango in 07 - a belt he never lost in the ring.

    That said, I can't think of a British fighter to be crowned champ (for the first time) in two divisions fighting abroad..... and in two different foreign countries to boot.

    Yeah definitely.

    Not something you will ever see a Sports Network fighter do, IMO.

    Rob hould have just stuck with the second cruiser to be 'undisputed' (although I know that's a disputed term;):lol:) and then grab a genuine title at HW. Am I right in saying that if Hide does win the WBC cruiser title, he would be the only fighter to achieve that feat the other way round? Be gentle if I 'm wrong:lol:.

    When did the WBO become 'legit' though?

    I don't even count it now - I mean, back then it was even more of a joke than it is now......

    His HW resume consists of a win over Tony Tucker - who was ancient, and hidings from a faded Riddick Bowe and a pre-prime Klitschko.

    Hardly the stuff of legend :lol:

    Let's put it another way: the first cruiser to be undisputed at CW, move up to win a portion of the HW title in his third official fight at the weight, against an opponent he gave up so much height and weight to, while fighting away from home.

    How's that?

    I do see where you are coming from, but the WBO is an established org now whether BB agrees or not. Hide's title, rightly or wrongly, now looks like a genuine title on paper, as opposed to being lightly regarded at the time, due to the WBO getting more credence over the years. I'm not saying it's right, but it's what people see. Similar to Nelson's and the Duke's achievements.

    Also, if RJJ does win the IBO at cruiser next year, I won't be counting that. I guarantee it gets press, though.

    Undisputedly a good arguement.
