Just baffled by what I saw last night? What did I see? Was Sam that good? Is Sturm washed up? Did he "get old overnight"? Did he overtrain? Was he sick? I'm baffled...shocked, stunned. Anyone got any answers????

Is a case of Sam just being all wrong for Felix - as Kisssan said?
What explanation if any has Sturm given? I know he is a gent and wont want to be making excuses but surely he must be saying something??

Sturm said Soliman was the better man, he doesn't want to make any excuses. He also said "Sam was moving very well, I tried it with too much power and aggression (in a emotional kinda way)."
"Maybe I wanted too much. He was good, I have to accept it. It would be stupid not to admit it. I didn't follow my trainer's instructions. One can talk very much into it. But being a champion also means accepting defeat."

Thanks Kissan - as Ive said many times: Sturm is a classy guy. But even he doesent seem to have an full explanation for what was by any standards a HUGE slump in form from his last 2 fights. In fact Radosevic was similar in stature, size, and style to Sam Soliman and Felix coped fine with him. An out-of-shape Felix coped better with Sam in their first fight also - baffling slump in form???

Will he retire now or what?

He has a multi-million dollar fight with Arthur Abraham at 168 sitting on the table. Can't imagine he'll pass that up.

Sturm will be racking his brain to figure out what went so wrong so fast. It was one of, if not the worst drop in form I've ever seen. He will not be keen to go out with a loss, but until he gets to the bottom of it, and finds a way to fix it ....well there isn't much point in taking on dangerous hard hitting opponents just to be a punchbag....baffling

Catic should've stayed with his former promotor. UD loss would've never happened lol.
