Duran moved up to welter and fought an undefeated Leonard.Floyd couldn't even fight the #1 guy in his division.

 

Floyd never moved up in weight to fight a prime, undefeated, atg.Duran did.

 

Mayweather would have no chance.

I can understand those who favor Duran but lets not act as if he couldnt be outboxed and Floyd is near the top of the class in that category.

Apples and oranges. Mayweather was harder to hit square than Leonard was.
I can see Duran getting frustrated, losing his temper, and running into shots.
Out of the main three Latino boxer punchers around Mayweather's weight range, Duran, Arguello, Chavez, I'd say Chavez had the overall style and better mental focus to not become unhinged right off the bat with Mayweather's early speed and elusiveness.

Not saying Mayweather beats Duran, but he sure as hell has a good chance of doing so.

Bull****...Floyd is as fast, more accurate, smarter and has much better defense that Ray Leonard, when Duran whooped Leonard ass in the first fight all sugar did was hold, he was like a ****ing grappler in there, his accuracy was **** and he let Duran charge in head down swinging wildly all night, these guys were definitely great fighters but get overrated by dudes like you who deem them as unbeatable when they all got their ass beat, you guys act like they had super powers or some ****...

We're talking Duran a guy who padded his record with inferior competition, was a quitter on least one occasion, and consistently got his ass kicked by the best in his era...man please...ain't **** special about the so called golden era, these old timers got you all fooled, they talk down on our current crop of fighters and convince you dumb sob's that no one today or after them could beat them and Yall believe that ****, but I ain't buying it, I've seen and dissected their fights and they are all beatable, Hearns, Hagler, Ray Leonard and Duran...
