I've seen it as well to be honest; on a site where I was reading an interview about Nonito about a month or 2 ago, in the comments section there were some Filipino fight fans saying **** like that...but like u said one doesn't equal all though

Here come the insults because when cornered simple minded fools don't know how to act.

You're telling me I don't know **** about my own people? Aren't you Korean? :rofl

Who's changing their tune? I've been rocking this avatar for awhile now. Nonitors career has been mismanaged so it's been somewhat quiet here regarding him. Sorry if we're not post whores like you. PacD was the only one? You really don't have a clue what the **** you're talking about.

Exactly.. Thanks for proving my point..

Only PACDBEST supported donaire but most of these guys didnt..

Back in 2006, I made a thread about how Donaire is the future and most pinoys, and i mean most of them didnt even know who he was but the ones who did told me " Donaire is nothing.. Boom Boom Bautista and Aj Banal are the future " .. :patsch

And now they wanna act as if they supported him all along?? lol

    typical

Im not on the Donaire train yet. I need to see him beat people his own size. Donaire is 5'7" fighting against small people.

It's true. around where I live no one cares about Donaire. I live in SAn Jose and it is close to San leandro(where donaires from). The philipinos only care about Pacquiao because he is a superstar now. They don't have any interest in Donaire probably cause he isn't as big. Just like how they are all fans of Kobe around here haha.

**lets leave these kids to fight amongst themselves** :vonnecunt

but yeah...he needs to move up since he really is HUGE compared to the other lil dudes fighting on that division... and i heard he's either going back to 115 or even 118 if he can get a fight w/ Montiel

since when did this thread become a "who got the first dibs on Donaire", "fair-weather bandwagoners", "pinoys", etc.?

way to make this thread conducive for discussion about Donaire himself

i've only known about Donaire when he won against Darchinyan so am i allowed to post here without getting insulted because i never knew him before that?

he still has some room for improvement because i haven't seen a fight yet that was able to challenge his counter-punching or at the very least match his power. in his recent fight with Martinez, he was able to get away with being reckless in the earlier rounds especially round 2. but who knows, that's his way of getting Martinez to try to hit him so he can hit back with a more powerful blow.

anyway, he does have a huge potential but i would like to see more fights. hopefully he already got past through those managerial issues. and really the only way he can improve is to gain experience from more challenging fights. i'd like to see what he can do in the higher weight levels with more quality opponents. his counter-punching is a great thing to watch.

Exactly. I don't get this fairweather fan bull****. I only knew of Donaire when he KO'd Darchi. So I guess I'm a fairweather fan now, eh?

I've been a fan of him even since that fight, and was one of the few who believed in him when Amsterdam and 80% of the posters here in ESB where saying he'd amount to nothing and that Mijares would school him and how Montiel and even past prime Arce would knock him out brutally.

I don't give a **** if he's half Filipino or not. As long he's got 1% of Filipino blood in his veins, I'd fully consider him as one of ours.
