That would be a pretty pointless thread anyway. Just like this one.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on your threads but the answers are pretty obvious.

Mares is a very gritty fighter and gets sloppy and loses focus and composure as the fight moves along. First half will be very competitive, but I think Nonito makes him eat alot of right hands. Either a late round Nonito ko or UD. Agbeko seemed to lose steam and the accumulation of Mares's punches would make Agbeko think twice. Both Mares and Agbeko would really test Nonito despite having not very good defenses.

Or we could pit him with another bantamweight legend in Carlos Zarate

    good point.

these tournaments aren't good at all. 1 loss and you go into obscurity.

You win a tournament and you're shop worn.

    Go for it

With Mares/Jofre you will get a couple of hardcore Mexican fans throwing their vote for Mares but they wont vote for him against one of their cherished own.

Or we can say f*ck it and put him up against Julian Jackson

I like you Boom Boom, but this is a very dumb query. Mares wouldn't stand a chance against Donaire.

I see Donaire Mares ability gap along the lines of Pac Cotto but with Donaire being the bigger boxer this time, Mares will be in for a nightmare.

Mares would eat a lot of those left hooks. Or maybe just one.

Donaire KOs him within 6. It would be ridiculously one-sided.

Nonito would win this and should get the knockout.
