    I leave for two weeks in cuba on the 18th.. would be great if Rigo managed to pull this one out and I could talk with the locals about it.

    Is Rigo held in high regard over there? I know Pro Boxing is illegal over there, so is watching it? Obviously they would know him from his amateur days.

    On the resorts they will know for sure. The gyms for example have access to ESPN. As for whether or not they wish to talk about defectors, it depends on the person and how comfortable they are talking to you about known defectors. They all definitely know Rigo, though.

    they'd need more than the laptops... they'd also need bandwidth greater than than 56k, which is the most you're likely to get anywheres there.

    I rented an hour of internet time for $13 when I was there last time. There was only one site I could get to.. ESB. email was taking over 20 mins to load...I was picturing fidel personally intercepting and reading my emails... :lol:
