Smith misses an overhand right while arching his back and rolling inside. Sandoval sticks the jab through Smith's gloves. Counter jab by Sandoval over Smith's. Left hook leads now from Smith, still getting beaten to the punch by Sandoval's jab. Long jab out of the Philly shell by Smith, missing and leaving him close enough to get grazed by Sandoval's jab as he pulls back.

Sandoval lands a big right hand. Smith is shuffling around on the outside, bent over very low. Smith lazily tosses a few right hands from outside but is keeping clear of Sandoval. Body shots by Sandoval, recahing. Smith whirls inside with a big wide left hook, missing. Jabs by Sandoval. Another hook by Smith misses. Lunging right by Smith misses.

Sandoval is jabbing and circling around Smith, spiraling closer. BIG right hand counter from Smith, wobbled Sandoval. 1-2 by Sandoval, responding instantly. Left rip to the body by Sandoval. Smith glides to his left slowly and then slaps out with a left hook, caught on the arm. Sandoval waits on the outside, feigning like he's about to dart in but never committing. Right hand lead by Sandoval. Long combo by Sandoval, straights and an uppercut, backing Smith up. Sandoval keeps pressing and Smith laughs at him after backing up an extra step. 1-2 by Sandoval. Jabs from outside by Sandoval, taking a few steps in either direction. Sandoval ducks a clubbing right by Smith. Sandoval leaves out a jab for Smith to walk into but gets pushed back as Smith hooks his way in. They exchange at the bell. Smith spins his arms around like fan blades and climbs the turnbuckle to greet the fans, who boo him soundly.
