Yeah, I'm in the majority that Hamed is special and a true rare talent. However, that being said, Donaire had the same level of speed and the basic tools to offset Hamed's unorthodox technique. Donaire by points, with Hamed on the seat of his trunks twice.
Nonito has certain skills that would trouble Hamed, but he's just too inactive and selective with his punches to really exploit Prince's poor balance. What you'd most likely get is a flat-footed Donaire following around a much quicker opponent who, by the way, had one-punch power in both hands. How good is Donaire's power when his feet aren't planted? That remains to be seen. Prince could seriously hurt him from any position, though.
donaire will school hamed enroute to a KO early rounds. He will eat counters all night and when that left hook connects BAM! KO of the year mfcker
Hamed beat himself when he left Brendan Ingle, surrounded himself with fools and got way too big for his boots, however, before that he was immense. People not only forget how great he was but they really hav no appreciation for how devastatingly hard he hit with both hands. He wins this match up by brutal knock out!
I'm a fan of Hamed, but Donaire has faster hands and Hamed would have trouble avoiding that counter left-hook. They both like to counterpunch, so it would be quite cagey during the opening rounds. Hamed mainly relied on head and upper body movement for his defence, often carrying his gloves quite low. He also loved to leap in with his punches from odd angles, and I wouldn't be surprised if he leaped in and Donaire timed him with the left hook, in a similar way to the end of the Darchinyan fight. Hamed had the power to hurt almost anyone around his weight, but I think Donaire's tighter boxing (and more cautious mentality) would triumph.
50/50 fight or me....def a TKO/KO victory for eaither, cant see this one going the distance. Donaire has some goog power and is a little more methodical with his punches. Hamed has worldly power at his size and although flashy and unorthodox it only takes one and he had all the tools to land one. if i had to pick...i think Hamed would get the W...only because i think Donaire can be lured into an exchange and Hamed had rockets....and would win most of the exchanges.
This would be such a sick match up, I'd be rooting for both of em. Just sit back and wait in anticipation of seeing what would happen when one of them lands a haymaker. 50/50 for me lol
