Fair enough. Luevano will be a tough fight for him, he not a great fighter but sticks to the game plan.

Donaire absolutely schooled darchinyan and will continue to do so should they meet again at 115lbs or 118lbs. In fact i feel Donaire could even take his 5'7 frame up to 122lbs. Stay away from Juanma though!!!!

Man, why should he stay away from Juanma? When the time is right, he'll be ready!

Cus Juanma has one of the most brutal right hooks in the game. The boy is a natural righty fighting as a lefty. He has ridiculous strengh and Donaire despite all the skill is not a 122lbs fighter!!! Let Rafa take care of bizness i say............

Lopez has never dealt with the the kind speed and the boxing ability of Donaire. You're right, with his 5"7 frame he wouldn;t have a problem filling up at 122 or maybe even 126 in due time. He has more than a good chance against Lopez.

But I like to see him test the waters at 118 cuz there are a few killers there. Mabuza, Agbeko, Hasegawa, and even Abner Mares matchups would be crackin.

The Flash Donaire is #1 at 112-115 in my book.

Its funny how people claim Donaire is 'loved' yet this thread has received 86 views!!!

I do try to start threads which don't have the names Pacquaio, hatton, Calzaghe, Mayweather, attached to it. But im fighting a losing battle, alas.

126lbs!!! Bro, lets not get ahead of ourselves!!!! He's 112lbs!! Hmmmmm Juanma is has a good skill set too. Lets not forget Gamboa, despite what people say on here the man does have skills. Put it this way, like i said, i don't see NO ONE beating donaire from 112lbs-118lbs-certainly not silence mabuza. i would be a liar if i did't admit im real excited in following this guy's career. i have like 7 of his fights and am eager to get more.

I like the guy but I have only seen 3 of his fights. He doesn't get the big fights tho, I want to see a rematch with Darchinyan for sure. I hope Darchinyan gets KTFO again.

Donaire being loved in his country is bull****. Back when he was a prospect, pinoy posters didnt even know who he was nor acknowledge him as anything special. I know this because back in 2006, I started talking about Donaire after seeing him on Showbox and most pinoys either didn't know him or they just dismissed him.. Instead, they were all on Aj banal and Boom Boom's bandwagon. lol.. They all laughed when I said that Donaire is the future. Even my Pinoy homies told me that the Filipinos dont embrace Donaire because they dont see him as a true pinoy.

Donaire is talented but he is having a hard time fighting the other champion at his weight class cuz they fear him. I'm glad he is moving up and can have a chance to fight darchinyan again, montiel-arce and mijares.

Donaire isn't a natural 112 fighter. He started at 115 then moved down just to fight Darchinyan but now that his business is finished, he's moving back up to where he belongs. Im not getting ahead of myself. Gamboa is still a green prospect and Nonito Donaire is a bonafide champion so don't compare the two. You're underestimating Silence mabuza, agbeko, and hasegawa.. All three of those guys can give donaire hell..

How many Mabuza fights have you seen?

I know. But has Donaire not defended a few times at 112lbs and is due to again soon?

I see Donaire's popularity back in the Philippines akin to Marquez's in Mexico. He's technically sound and a good all around boxer but overshadowed by his more flashy compatriots.

When the time is right, Nonito will be ready to deal with Juanma!

Rah, you seem absolutely certain of this. Maybe you see something i don't. Thats the beauty of boxing. You honestly think Donaire could step up 3 divisions and beat a big strong 122lbs fighter in Juanma?
