Pacquiao is a once in a generation fighter. Do not expect other people to be able to move up weight classes like he has.

Hes got the tools to be great, but he needs to win a few more WARS and jump up a few more weight classes before he can be called the Next Manny.

The Acid test is HOW many butthurt haters he gets on Esb though, If he can come close to the amount of hater threads then we can start talking

yup Pac is a modern day Sam Langford or Henry Armstrong weight jumper. But skill wise i think Donaire may be the next Pac.

He doesn't have the physicality of Manny or the adulation that Manny receives but he could be one of the best technicans in boxing. I prefer watching him box more than Manny.

The Montiel KO is still in front of my eyes. Donaire takes Montiel's right hand on the chin, turning his head and moving it away from the punch/absorbing the impact while landing his own killer left hook at the same time... I've never seen anything like it. Does it make much difference what weight Nonito is fighting at if he produces KOs like that? Going up a division or two might be fun but if Nonito never becomes a welterweight it won't be a loss for boxing.

Agreed i think Nonito is probably a future great fighter but i dont expect too see another fighteer in my lifetime move up from fly to JM and and be dominat. IMO Nonito will more than qualify as an atg if he wins the jf and Fw titles and stays as dominant as he was in the lighter divisions.. But there is no way hes going up to Welter and JM to win titles.. A feat like that hasnt happend since Armstrong held the fw,lw and ww titles at the same time, and that was like 75 years ago!!! Expect it to be almost as long... Or at least a minimum of 30 to 40 yrs.

Wouldn't surprise me if Arum gave Donaire some bogus title shots like what Pacquiao has received so he can 'break' records.

Still dont see it ... Its never been done before, theres been some great legends with super skils in the small weight division that lose it after a weight jump or 2. Nonito is a special fighter but what has he done to say he can accomplish what other super legends of the past couldnt do?

Mannys a freak of nature or whatever the hell you wanna call that has made him jump up the way he has (peds?? No proof so i wont go there).

He's not the next Pac. He's more like a cross between Floyd and MAnny.

    Yes he is.

Im totally sold on Nonito folks. This kid is Manny with an IQ plus excellent, lightning, powerful counter abilities.

Just thinking about Doinare vs Mayweather is making me jizz in my old pants at night folks.
