    Moores defence worked against certain styles but not all.Certainly it didnt work against Floyd and Ali.The cross armed defence leaves you open to body punches at the sides and the floating rib area too.

    Norton dragged his back leg, Bob Foster was similar but not as exaggerated.

    Yes he did. I was actually around back then. The "Ali didn't train or touch a glove" during his 3 years off in a myth and total BS.

    People like to give Norton the benefit of the doubt by saying that anyone would be stopped by Foreman or Shavers or he was past his prime or whatever but that ignores his KO loss to Garcia, getting wobbled and hurt pretty good by out of shape late sub Quarry, and getting dropped by guys like Eastling, Dutra, and Gilmore.
