how do you know how broner would react to a test of character outside the ring?
I agree with a lot of what you say here, but ali was his own man (even if it seemed reckless sometimes)

Vietnam was not about "serving" your country. It was about corporations killing innocent people so they could continue to exploit them and reap big profits...and the people being sent to enforce for the corporations didn't even have full rights here in america their own country. that was what ali was against. As for frazier, ali did say some things that were kind of messed up, but it wasn't all one-sided...why did frazier have to call him "clay"? frazier knew what ali was trying to do and still chose to go against that...so you can't complain if you're doing bad too.

no one knows what broner would or wouldn't do in that situation...he would have to be judged on his actions if faced with that dilemma. if he did the right thing he would be respected. if not, he would be forgotten...all we know about him is he's a boxer who's playing a role in order to make the best deal for himself.

unfortunately, broner hasn't been born into an age where his actions can leave an imprint as definitive as ali's were
I doubt flushing dollar bills down the toilet at maccas will be his defining legacy

WAR is always about a hidden agenda however when you are called to protect your homeland you need to man up and serve.

The thing about Thurman is that, unlike Porter who's very respectful but kinda boring, he's a very entertaining interviewy

Broner just says nonsense over and over, Thurman actually makes sense and can get you hype without being disrespectful and "flashy"

We live in a world which is isnt interested in a build up , they want instant success and the tv companies know Broner cannot fight, but they also know he sells tickets.

It used to be the great white hype , now its just hype.
