They found someone who is prob as shot as hatton for him to fight Sounds like a good scrap style wise
:-( I wish I knew what was going through a fighter like Kat's head.... I wish I could see some interviews with him or something that describe why hes still fighting. I just dont understand why these guys who are most likely on a clear trajectory to brain damage with almost no upside at all to compensate for it make these decisions to keep going. I guess I do understand.... but im sure for every fighter its different (money, pride, crowd, delusion *I can still be a champ*) But I just wonder what it is in this case.
Unfortunately most fighters dont have a business sense to keep their money making money. Thats why most fighters overstay their welcome. :-( Having said that, Kats has a punchers chance against Hatton. Hatton picked a good enough opponent to where he can guage if he continues or not. Hatton dominates Kats, he can convince himself he can continue. If he has any trouble at all, I think Hatton is smart enough to hang them up again. At least I hope so.
A commendable choice, really. Katsidis is well-known and a good fighter. He could potentially hurt or stop a diminished Hatton. And if Hatton does win, which is the more likely outcome, then it's a very decent comeback victory. But, as I said in another thread, Katsidis could derail Hatton's comeback train before it's even left the station. Interesting fight.
no he wasn't shot, he was champion, most people have realised that's a rediculous claim, hatton beat him fair and square
